49 escape rooms
This room was fine. We did it for my Dad’s 72nd. It’s 2 rooms and your team is split between the rooms. There was a specific flow to the clues so I can see that the more people you have, the more people who might be standing around doing nothing. Recommended 4-6 people to make it fun and challenging enough. We had some kids with us, so it was ok. The puzzles are fairly easy and typical of escape rooms. There are a TON of locks. There are a couple of creative ways you find the keys to a couple of locks, but the other puzzles are predictable. Lock types: keys, combos, letters and numbers. There is a little bit of communication that has to happen between the two parts of your teams but otherwise it’s find this to do that. For the puzzles, I’m at a 4/10. For the room design I’m at a 4/10. For the story, I’m at a 2/10. For the FUN factor, because it was my family, I’m going up to a 6/10. It was all of their first room but my like … well, I’ve done a lot. If you’re an experienced group, you’ll get out in about a half hour. So for difficulty, I’m at a 4/10. Overall, we had fun, so that’s what was important to me.
