Entering this room as a 2 player team we felt slightly overwhelmed to begin with but we actually managed to “complete” it. Slightly disappointed the GM didn’t go over the storyline. But the room made up for it as the puzzles were great. Slightly disappointed at one electronic puzzle which doesn’t work correctly as I assumed I wasn’t doing it correctly due to the fault. (I really hate broken tech) The GM did explain this after and was really polite. He was very chatty and happy to explain any puzzles and offer advice on other rooms to play.

A really enjoyable solid room. Nice storyline to it. Lots of puzzles to solve which were all logical. Very well themed! Would recommend this room.

Does what it says on the tin. It’s a fun well themed room which zombie fans will appreciate. For experienced players the puzzles were very easy! We would’ve got out in 25 minutes but we were having fun so didn’t rush it. One puzzle which doesn’t make sense at all slowed us down for ages and we had to get a clue but even then I don’t think the solution was something we would’ve figured out on our own. Karen wasn’t as bitchy as I expected her to be and was slightly repetitive.. I would make a better Karen 😂

Loved the theming and story of this room. It’s very creepy and there were plenty of jump scares. Unfortunately as an experienced team of 4 we found the puzzles very simple and there weren’t many of them even though it was a linear game (the gm did explain the scary aspect usually slows groups down) There was an unusual puzzle that I haven’t seen done elsewhere that was really fun to complete! Would recommend this room but best for smaller groups if experienced.

This was the first room we played at deception. The story and theming was fabulous! The jump scares definitely got us in a few places. You are told if you are “caught” by a character then you automatically fail which put pressure on us to hide rather than solve puzzles, though I feel they probably don’t throw you out the game if they do see you. Like their other room we went back to do, we found it very difficult with just two players and didn’t escape. However we still enjoyed it. There is a puzzle which only gives you limited time to solve at the end, and if you do it wrong it’s game over even if you have time left, which is not a concept I’m overly keen on (we didn’t get that far anyway 😂)

Very creative room. Good storyline which is briefed well. Puzzles were logical and made sense. There is one very tricky “find things in a picture and count them to get a code” near the start which took us way too long. Has some very fun elements we haven’t seen in other games which really impressed us. The first room at deception we have managed to escape. Note it’s a very small space, we were climbing over each other as a pair. The puzzles are fairly linear too. So not sure if we would have enjoyed it with more players.

A major improvement from Hallows Hill! More difficult puzzles which we liked as hallows hill was too easy for us. Graphics were good. But very pleased there is a second more difficult play through included.

We absolutely LOVED the theming, story and puzzles in this escape room! Unfortunately, like the other room we played here (scarytale) we found it way too difficult to complete as a couple! If you are looking for a room with LOTS to solve this one is highly recommended.
