Save The Fleet
Escape U
Escape room
IRL
Back for a second round at Escape U and Save the Fleet still held up to the experience of Sneaky Snake! While on the easier side of difficulty the game itself was super fun and homely made by our resident mean ghost that constantly heckled us and kept us laughing through the whole adventure! Puzzles and flow was good and the only hiccups we had were purely on our end. We loved our second round here and look forward to coming back to make a great jail escape! :)
Follow The White Rabbit
Mastermind Monastiraki
Escape room
IRL
Came to Athens for vacation and I couldn’t leave without giving the infamous industry here a try!! Following the White Rabbit down the hole I had no clue what to expect for it being my first game internationally but from my entrance into the building to the time I left I can happily say the Athenian escape room market is one I NEED to tap into. Puzzle flow went perfect and the linear play did work well into the story of this experience. I also really enjoyed how our live actor made the experience just that much better! The balance of her staying in character but also acting as the clue giver was excellent! Overall we had an awesome time playing and really enjoyed the little things here with Mastermind! Will certainly be back for more whenever I get the chance :)

The Sneaky Snake Lounge
Escape U
Escape room
IRL
We have always enjoyed games that have incorporated live actors and The Sneaky Snake Lounge is one that does it very well! The story here was basic and straightforward but also had that hint of fun that (supported by the actor) was refreshing to be apart of. This game also had a smooth flow from space to space and puzzle to puzzle which is always welcome. The only hiccups we had were certainly on our end and by no means detrimental! One thing about live actors is the scaling of how they interact with you. They will ask if you would be interested in the PG, PG13 or R! We went with the middle ground and it was very fun for our group and definitely made the experience that much better (Thank you Grace)! Overall we had an awesome time breaking into the 1920’s Lounge will certainly be making another stop to St. Augustine when we can :)
Wagon Train: End of Outlaws' Reign
Locksmith Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
Another delightful run with the team at Locksmiths! This long awaited and newest gunslinging tale is one we had a bunch of fun with some fun Easter eggs that kept my grin wide all throughout the experience. With it being another collaboration game with the Ventures crew I had no worry that they would continue to keep up with their reputation of great puzzle play and scenic design thar never disappoints! This is also another great family friendly game with a lot of interactive puzzles and movement for the little ones! So if you are in the area and looking for hootin and hollering good time getting the bandits out of town stop by Wagon Train :)
Cinema 7
Will To Escape - Orlando
Escape room
IRL
Another original and delightful addition to the Will to Escape portfolio! Cinema 7 still has the creator’s escape room passion project aspect that we loved to see in their first creation Disappearance! For older experienced players there are the nods to fun games they may have played before and for newer players puzzles are approachable and easy to follow from start to finish! A step up that we liked was how interactive the game was with how it physically got you moving from space to space but also puzzle to puzzle. Story of this theater was also clear and easily followed from end to end which added to the general suspense of the experience! The spooks were also good and while not heavy in the jumpscare realm, the ambiance and the beautiful set delivers enough to make you feel uneasy as you should in an old abandoned theater like Cinema 7! Overall we had a lovely time solving and watching the sinister history of old Cinema 7 from start to finish. Excited to see where the creators go next!
Nightfall: Creature At Camp Deadwood
The Escape Ventures - Port Charlotte
Escape room
IRL
A spooky and absolutely lovely conclusion to the Ventures of Port Charlotte! Witt the great anticipation I had for this game going into it I had not a shred of disappointment leaving. Just like any other game from the crew of TEV the puzzle play flows seamlessly and use of space and set is extraordinary! Most certainly one of the best games created by the team! Our biggest plus was our live actors! Our country ranger Josh had us hootin and hollerin while the mysterious creature of Dreadwood…or may I say…DEADwood had us screaming and our hearts thumping till the very end. Not to neglect the great use of lighting and tech in this room but that was a great point of this experience as well. It certainly added to the level of suspense and immersion that we believed this experience deserved! We are very sad to see this be the last we see in PC but we are so excited to see the next projects that TEV have in store :))
Sir Ripple Sugarton’s Candy Factory
Split Oak Axescape Games
Escape room
IRL
Of the two we played here at Split Oak this was our favorite! With a little bit of Willa Wonk funk we had a lot of fun here with a variety of puzzles that were not overly difficult but certainly doable for a large range of different players. Being the hardest of their two experiences this game is definitely done best with at least 3-4 players due to the high quantity of puzzles. Also one thing to note is this is a non linear experience so splitting up and having more people will make it smoother for the average group. Overall then we had a lot of fun earning our rights to a new Candy Factory in Hawaii and would definitely recommend dropping by if in the area! :)
Unidentified: The Case of Mystery Gates Theme Park
The Escape Warehouse
Escape room
IRL
Round two with Escape Warehouse was not disappointment by any means! Much like its creepier neighbor Hide + Seek, this mystery was full of fun and beautiful at the same time. Puzzles flowed smoothly from one to the other and were full of carnival fun. A perfect game to go out to be the best FBI agents you can be! :)
Hide + Seek
The Escape Warehouse
Escape room
IRL
A kidnapper game done right! From beginning to end you were incredibly aware that you are next of the list of this black sheep of a neighbor with plenty of bits of story throughout and equally amazingly nasty scenery to go along with it. Gameplay was awesome and flowed incredibly well! Each player of my team had something to and had little down time to question where go go next thanks to the puzzle design The only thing I wished that was present here would be the use of a live actor to amp the scare level and make it all feel a bit more…real. Overall we had an awesome time and Keilee was a delightful host :)
Cutthroat Cavern
13th Gate Escape
Escape room
IRL
“$&@!?@&$!?” That’s all my group could say for extended periods of time until we managed to snap ourselves out of the trance we were put in. This game lives up the amazing hype it gets and deserves the 100th room title for me! We are truly at a loss for words as to how to describe what we saw and did in this experience. When you think you are done it just kept getting better. We loved this game from start to end and wish it didn’t end. Puzzle play was the best we had experienced that day and once again puzzles I had never seen before made appearances that we more than welcomed. I really can’t talk about this game any more without giving it away. If you ever find yourself with free time in Baton Rouge do yourself a favor and DO THIS!
