The Tour - Night at the Alleyescape the alleyEscape roomOther This room is, to be honest, grating. The actor stays with you the whole time, he speaks in an Australian accent that stops being funny quickly, he shouts nonsense in your ear, and practically does all the puzzles for you. If you spend longer than a minute, he shouts hints and clues at you without considering that maybe you don’t want help. The room is also just poorly constructed. They also have puzzles spread out that aren’t even a part of the room you’re doing, wasting your time when you’re trying to solve a puzzle that you’re not supposed to. But don’t worry! He’ll yell in your ear that you’re working on the wrong puzzle. As a massive escape room enthusiast, I’ve never left a room feeling irritated and overwhelmed, so this is a first time. I think there’s a lot of great potential if this guy learns how to edit his decoration, make the puzzles only applicable to the room you’re doing, and cool it with his comedy routine.
