Box One By Neil Patrick HarrisTheory11 OnlineEscape roomTabletopSuch a unique and fun way to play a box game. We are such huge fans of NPH and this game did not disappoint. The flow and puzzles were a blast to do and we cant wait to do more!
Find Pharaoh's GoldLock Museum AdventureEscape roomIRLHusband and I went with our 3 kids. We didnt quite know what to expect with it being at the Lock Museum but we are so glad we went. Tom was amazing and we didnt realize there were so many different types of locks and keys! The game was fun and our kids were a huge help. Not a standard escape room with a set storyline and electronic puzzles. This is old school. Locks, clues and keys/codes that you have to explore to find. It was a fun deviation from our normal escape rooms we have done and learned some cool history along the way.
The MallComplexity: A Puzzling AdventureEscape roomIRLOur crew of 2 adults and 2 kids worked through the mall while having fun. The kids actually solved a few puzzles on their own and were able to contribute which made it a great experience.
Ultimate Bank HeistMission Escape Games - West Hartford, CTEscape roomIRLReally fun and good flowing room. Puzzles were in theme and clicked well. As a duo- we enjoyed the teamwork and communication puzzles a lot.
TimberlandEscape The PikeEscape roomIRLGreat theme and use of puzzles. The flow and aesthetic to this room was very immersive and well done. Great room for a date night and good for kids too.
Mob RatsQuandary WallingfordEscape roomIRLOverall fun room. A lot going on but it broke up nicely. Some of the props need to be replaced and one of the puzzles was unlocked when we walked in but we closed it after getting confirmation from the magic beyond that it was in fact, supposed to be closed. Our kids were able to help on quite a few puzzles too.
High Speed NYCExit Escape Room NYCEscape roomIRLGameplay was pretty straight forward. Puzzles were interesting and saw some ones we hadn't seen before. One of the mechanisms was malfunctioning but the gamemaster came in and helped us through it. Fun to do with at least 2 players and if you have any kids.
The Da Vinci Challenge - CLOSEDLara's Labyrinth - HadleyEscape roomIRLVery unique room. Instructions to start room were lengthier than other rooms we have done. Puzzles stayed in genre. There was one puzzle our guide came in the room to assist with. I would recommend fixing that puzzle to be aided from afar as not to break scene immersion. But overall- a lot of types of puzzles we have not seen and great theme. I would also recommend adding themed lights as allowing phone flashlights breaks scene theme.
PodunkEscape The PikeEscape roomIRLSome unique puzzles and good flow to the room. Definitely a little dark but fun .
SPY2KEscape The PikeEscape roomIRLTransported back to the 90s and it was amazing. Good flow and amazing working props to fit the room. Don't get too distracted through from the task at hand.
Son of the ZodiacEscape The PikeEscape roomIRLVery immersive room for touch, sight and sound. Keep your wits about you! Great room for communication and awesome themed puzzles. We loved the very visual and varied puzzles throughout the game as well as many of the physical elements. Nice touches. This is one of our favorite games to date.
The Blizzard - CLOSEDComplexity: A Puzzling AdventureEscape roomIRLVery chill room- pun intended. One of the puzzles was partially broken and the others were on the simpler side. The puzzles did stay in genre which is a big plus and the flow went well. Bettee room for beginners.
Hunt For The Dead Sea SoulsComplexity: A Puzzling AdventureEscape roomIRLOur first room at complexity. You are split up at the beginning and lighting is very dim, making it hard to enjoy a lot of the puzzles without in any added in game light sources. Some random props in corners did not add to the atmosphere. Very straightforward puzzles and one lengthy time consuming puzzle.
The TombEscapismEscape roomIRLVery dark room with foggy elements. Neat story line and some hands on puzzles great for group.
The Cellar - CLOSEDKey QuestEscape roomIRLVery basic room. Some of the locks did not work and the room was very cramped. Gamemaster had to come in and help with a few of the locks that did not work right. We had the correct codes. Also very loud from the surrounding laser tag rooms.
