ClueBreakout Games - ColumbiaEscape roomIRLAs a huge fan of Clue since childhood I was really looking forward to this room and I have to say it may be one of my favorite rooms I’ve done. The theming was great, the storyline was good, the use of what space they had was put to excellent use and we really felt like we were inside of Clue playing it One part did involve colors so if you have issues telling colors apart or anything like that that may be a slight problem for the individual but otherwise this room felt well worth what was paid and good experience
Monopoly: Get Out of Jail!Breakout Games - ColumbiaEscape roomIRLThis room was more frustrating than a good time, and for the first time felt like an expensive waste of money. A lot of the room is based on carnival type games requiring certain types of skill/luck (and only one person can be doing it) and there isn’t a lot you can do in the meantime until you’d hopefully complete what’s needed. Along with the fact that things would pop open, or something would happen and it was obvious at all so we wouldn’t even be aware that a part we needed was just sitting there waiting to be used. In addition a lot of the game play and flow was just very unclear and just not knowing what to be doing. Though we did end up escaping (with just a little bit of time left) the almost 150 dollars that was spent for the three tickets felt kinda like a waste of money and overall just a very disappointing room and experience
