The Time Machine | Chapter 2: ContinuumDynamic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room was dumb. Not so dumb it’s brilliant. ITS JUST DUMB. It was not well kept. Everything was fading. Maps were worn, lights were dim, and magnets didn’t work. The guy running it all had to step in and hand us a magnet ESSENTIAL to the puzzle we were working on 6 minutes into us working on it. The game master should not have to enter the room. If we had to wait in the lobby for 10 minutes maybe check your pockets to see if you left an essential item in there. The clues were also given by a janky tablet. If you did the first part of this room and hated it, trust your instincts and don’t come do this one. It’s worse. Not fun, not immersive, and a waste of time. It seems like a middle school project that was assigned to a group of four kids that had to come up with a theme but none of them agreed. Then one of the kids dads came in and screwed some cringey art on the wall.
