AmnesiaQuest Room - Culver CityEscape roomIRLAmnesia is yet another unique and immersive horror/comedy adventure by Quest Room and was a blast to play! We accidentally skipped a puzzle which resulted in a kink in the narrative, so my one criticism would be that the flow should be tighter so that game play cannot move forward unless this puzzle is completed. However, all was cleared up in the end and we appreciated the one-of-a-kind story. Highly recommend!

If you, like me, grew up frequently enduring the inherent creepiness of a certain animatronic mouse and his friends with an equally disturbing slice of pizza, you will love this room. Most unique theme I’ve seen in a while and wonderfully executed. Not scary—perfectly unsettling. Highly recommend!

Earl's Body ShopAxxiom Escape Rooms - WilmingtonEscape roomIRLDefinitely one of Axxiom’s better rooms. We enjoyed the theme and set designs, and a couple of fun surprises. There are a few puzzle quirks that disrupted the flow a bit for us but the GMs seem aware of this and chimed in with nudges to make sure we escaped.

Excellent sets and atmosphere, great storyline and objectives, and unexpected elements and scares along the way. We played a slightly altered version due to COVID and missed out on some really neat-looking aspects of the original game, but that didn’t stop us from having a great experience. Hopefully, they’ve reinstated those elements by now.

Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLBy far the best wizard-themed room I’ve played and one of the best games in OC - so good, I played it twice! Great use of tech and very unique elements not found elsewhere. The game is built so that if some of the more involved puzzles threaten completion, the GMs provide hints that bypass some elements to ensure players finish without really sacrificing experience. Very impressive game, can’t wait for their second room!
Loot Wars: The HarvestKing's Eye EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is the first game I’ve ever abandoned midway out of frustration. It’s not that the puzzles are difficult, but that they are time-consuming for all the wrong reasons. I can appreciate that King’s Eye wanted to craft a “real world” experience but this game misses the mark.
