Escape room

Omescape

Kingdom of Cats

Was a very solid room, and the theme helps it stand out. Experienced players might find it a bit lackluster but there are very few rooms in the area that support two players, and this is worth doing if your team is very small. Good one for beginners.

Kingdom Of Cat-tastrophy

Set in a whimsical world where we had to rescue Princess Cat Aurora and unite cat clans, the detailed set design and atmospheric lighting was fantastic. The narrative was well intertwined with the environment, making the experience feel like a cohesive journey.

We needed hints for a couple of puzzles, and our host Abbey provided them in character, which added to the fun (shout out to Abbey who was an all around awesome host!). However, one puzzle remained unclear even after explanation. Even so, we were thrilled with how well the vast majority of puzzles fit within the context of the story.

Note that the room does involves sound puzzles which would be challenging for the hard of hearing and one in particular could be a complete sensory overload for people with auditory processing issues. Additionally the game starts with players being put in handcuffs. Its all good fun and there is an emergency handcuff release button but it caught me off guard, Crawling and climbing are also required.
