The Naked EyeRoomsmithsEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed the room and escaping is always a bonus, the room is a big room which can appear overwhelming at first as there is alot to do, but it does slowly fall into place, but not always easy to follow what you have or havent done yet. The room has a very strange experience to it, starts in an office environment then changes to something otherworldly. The host GM unfortunately wasnt the best and didnt always respond to the walkie talkie when prompted. Be aware, this room has ALOT of red herrings. You’re reminded to ‘remember’ things which are completely irrelevant and never re-arrise.
You PlonkerDreadLock Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOverall we were happy with the room, the immersive environment and a super warm welcome. The room was well constructed and offered a great variety of different puzzles. Although we didnt get out, which is very unlike us we got enough pleasure to want to go back and do the rest of their rooms. One down side was it felt like there was alot to do across the room in the alotted time because we had accessed 3 separate rooms and decoded probably the best part of 20-30+ puzzles and when the host explained what was left when we hadn’t escaped, i would suggest we would have needed at least a further 20mins. There is a few very small changes i would suggest to allow puzzles to flow easier or hit those little triggers without requiring hints. We learnt this was their lowest escape rate room suggesting it is their hardest. But this aside, it was honestly overall a great experience. Ide give the room a solid 7/10 and would recommend anyone to give it ago themselves. We will be returning that’s for sure!
CamelotHousetrap Escape Rooms Indian QueensEscape roomIRLWe had heard good things about house trap and looked forward to our room. Our overall experience was good, the room was good, the staff welcoming and the price was fair but unfortunately as mentioned above the GM controlled an electromagnet and they refused to allow us to ‘escape’ because we’d solved the final puzzle but because we managed to accidently skip a step in completing it, they refused to accept we’d solved the puzzle because we didnt do it ‘their way’
MaryUnescapableEscape roomIRLMary was the first of a few we have done at uneacapable, mary was honestly a delight. Really immersive and a greatly themed room, the room flows well from progression to progression and the GM’s really get into character and make your experience memorable. We got out in time and lived to see another day! Thank you for having us!
EdithUnescapableEscape roomIRLEdith was our first ‘scary’ escape room and scary it was. The theming was great, lots of suspense, low light and a sense of ‘danger’ the room flows and you’re constantly gripped to the edge of your seat, only… the room doesnt have alot to do or puzzles to solve and this is primarily because you’re on edge or scared its harder to focus and you get hit with plenty of distractions, so if you’re easily spooked or distracted the amount of puzzles is probably perfect for the 60min you get in there but when you’re seasoned escapers who arent easily spooked you can get out quite quickly.
BeanstalkTimberVaultEscape roomIRLThis is a very easy family friendly ‘fun’ room to do. Alot of low budget paper puzzles to do which i’ve never appreciated the lack of effort in rooms like this. The theming was great and really immersive, you felt like you were in where you were supposed to be. But this is a score based room rather than an ‘escape’ based room and i’ve never really enjoyed that concept overall but if you do then maybe it would be one for you to try. But yes, very simple very cheap and very younger age appropriate.
TommyUnescapableEscape roomIRLLike all unescapable rooms, tommy is great. But as you can tell by our time, it was very easy. If you’re experienced escapers, perhaps do another one of their rooms. This is more a beginner room. Lovely room and nice setting with great atmosphere but like i say, very easy. We escaped in 25mins with two of us.
