The steampunk submarine is perfect, the narrative carries you along and the sound and lighting are exactly as I’ve come to expect from Escape This. Epic!

Solid theming, highly atmospheric, fun gameplay, great narrative and unusual puzzles to solve … highly recommend this room!

The pyramid is set in a huge space with set pieces and props that match the scale of the space and the story. This isn’t just an escape room - it’s an adventure! The narrative is seamless, with a storyline that pulls you into the world you’ve entered. Escape This have smashed it out of the park again, wish I could forget it just to play it again!
The Forgotten ArcadeOtherWorld HQEscape roomIRLGreat concept - amateur execution. I was looking forward to this room but left disappointed. Worn out and broken props, tired and basic set design - maintenance and upkeep is as important as installation, come on people! The arcade machines look good, the entry to the ‘secret’ areas is clever and the gameplay was sort of fun but nothing special. I don’t think it would be suitable for more than two players. Overall an okay room with some interesting ideas, but lazy upkeep and basic set design diminish the experience. Somewhat baffled by the terpeca award nomination.

Throughout the gameplay it felt like we were solving puzzles adjacent to a shopping centre rather than being transported into the world of their story.
Paradise PrisonPadlock'd Escape roomIRLSolid game. Simple but immersive set - pretty much everything made sense to the story. There was one exception to this with a janky and unnecessary use of tech but overall enjoyed this room.
