Titkos Metró [Secret Subway]E-Exit Escape Room BudapestEscape roomIRLIf you're in Budapest and want to do an escape room, definitely do this one! This is an awesome room! Their high tech puzzles all worked well and led to a very fluid experience moving from puzzle to puzzle. There's a part midway through that is just ridiculously cool!
DeadlandAROOM BudapestEscape roomIRLGreat room with a lot of atmosphere. Lots of fun puzzles. Fairly linear. Big space - I don't think this would be a good room for 2 due to one of the puzzles. Multi-level - expect to go up and down a ladder several times.
The ElevatorMichigan Escape Room - Washington TwpEscape roomIRLGreat room with some novel surprises at the beginning that really felt immersive and fun! There's plenty of mechanical puzzles (which I personally think are fine) alongside high tech components I haven't seen elsewhere. You'll be split into 2 groups to start, but you'll have means to communicate. When you get back together, there's lots of multi-linear puzzles in the shared space. Our group of 8 was able to spread out and keep everyone fairly engaged, but I think 6 might be even better if you're all experienced. This was a really fun room and definitely worth it if you're in the area!
Steampunk ChroniclesTROLL Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis is a fun and well-themed room with high tech puzzles. The design is linear, with each puzzle opening in turn. If you have fewer people, you'll need to be very on top of looking around during the transitions, as a few things are subtle.
Save King's LandingPuzzle Punks - BrasovEscape roomIRLReally fun escape experience. Linear puzzles, but interesting, high tech, and fun. Two people was the right number for us, but we're pretty experienced. They told us their other room was less linear, but we didn't have time to try that. Friendly staff, good theming, multi-room, and great overall flow to the puzzles!
BunkerLocked RoomEscape roomIRLThis is a multi-room experience that is high tech with many puzzles, but the tech didn't always work well for our group. The game masters were attentive and helped with that, and they gave us some time back as well for it, so that was good. I also don't love when the difficulty of the room is mainly devised from trying to figure out which puzzles are actually accessible currently. Still, a good room overall. While it holds 6, I wouldn't recommend more than 4 for this room.
The LibraryDecode Detroit - YpsilantiEscape roomIRLGood, high tech, linear, single room. Had one incredibly confusing/ poorly clued puzzle that even our game master couldn't explain how to properly solve afterward.
Room Where It HappensDecode Detroit - YpsilantiEscape roomIRLThis was a very well themed and generally fun room. Having done a lot of other escape rooms, the way this room seems to work was confusing, which made it hard for us to tell if we were doing well or if we were running out of time. It's pretty high tech and multi-linear, probably best with 4 people.
