Nobody knows from where the first zombies came from, but it sure changed the world brutally. They overran most big cities in no time. Life as we knew it, changed forever... Some decided to fightback. The military along with some survivors established well defended bases. You are desperately searching for a safe haven, where you could finally rest for a little bit. Traveling during daytime seems safe so far, but with the coming of darkness, the creatures emerge from the shadows... Your only hope is to draw the attention of the army to yourselves and pray for a quick rescue. However with each passing hour, hope fades away, and darkness set soon... Race against time! Can you find a safe haven from the rampaging zombie horde before it gets dark? Search through every corner of the ruined city to find a way of surviving.

Good things: Cool theme. I love everything with zombies. I liked the room that felt very much like a zombie movie where you have to find shelter before it gets dark and all the zombies get out. Some puzzles were super fun and clever. The room was big and opened up for many new rooms. The decorations were also cool. I loved how the room was in more levels and you had to crawl up on things. Less good: I wish they embraced the creepy zombie universe better. It could have been much more scary/exciting which would have made it more fun. Also more music or scary sounds would have helped. It was quiet most of the time and you could hear a lot of noises from outside the room or from other rooms which ruined the immersiveness in the experience . Puzzles: Overall fun puzzles and some new ones I've never seen. Maybe 1/3 of the puzzles were keys/padlock. There was also one particular puzzle (no spoiler but it had something to do with a barrel) that worked really bad. We asked about it afterwards and it seemed like everyone is struggling with it because it's unlogical and faulty. Difficulty: I think it was as described. It was not too difficult and very logical in what order you had to solve the puzzles. All objects that you couldn't use to solve any puzzles were fixated which made it much easier to solve (but maybe also a little boring). Hosting: The hosting was good. The hint and guidance worked well. The game master was sweet and helpful. Her name was Zsu. In summary: Fun theme, many rooms, some really fun puzzles. A few faulty puzzles. Could have been more exciting/scary and more immersive.
I liked the decorations but they could have done more to emphasis the scary zombie theme

The Deadland room in Budapest is beautifully designed and perfectly captures the post-apocalyptic zombie atmosphere. Located in a residential area, this room offers an immersive experience that makes you feel part of a zombie apocalypse. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, and the room is spacious, accommodating many players comfortably. The puzzles are moderately challenging, and although we needed some hints, the overall difficulty is balanced. The room provides a clear storyline, making it easy to follow and know what to do next. The climate control is excellent, adding to the comfort of the experience. The puzzles are well-integrated into the story, enhancing the overall fun. This room is ideal for groups and offers a fantastic, immersive adventure with a strong zombie vibe.

One of the best rooms we played at the ARoom (all was great). Was a bit skeptical because we normally don't do scary stuff but this was just nice and the puzzles were fun.

A fun, solid game with an awesome set and props, a simple premise and a satisfying progress. It delivers on most of its promises, but could be much more immersive with a few adjustments, there is definitely a room for improvement to make this as cool as it could be.
Nice flow, players are always moving, opening new rooms and cooperating. For 3 people it was a fun challange.
The set itself is great, nice ideas and execution all around. Problem is, as with most games in Budapest, the immersion and atmosphere – music is so silent you can barely hear it, there are no twists to your story, you don't feel under pressure or in danger (even though you are supposed to be fighting for your life). There are couple cool items you get to work with, but they lack the special effects to make it really satisfying (including the ending).
The staff was welcoming and clearly interested in what they do! Shame we didn't get to talk much...
Not scary
Not really, there were some 'spooky' sound effects, but that was it.

Immeesive experience!! So many interaction you wouldnt expect in your regular escape room. We really got a wholesome adventure in that room. Wish I could forget and play again!
Such great puzzles and props to use!
If they had live actors. It could be sold as a horror escape room.
Really lovely gamemasters, we received tons of help.

As a zombie lover I enjoyed this game, be aware there is a very vertical ladder which is quite difficult to climb up and down so if you have mobility issues you would definitely struggle. Think this game would be far more immersive if it was scarier.

Don't miss this! The set is incredibly awesome

We had a full day planned at Aroom, and all their games was great. Our favorites was Deadland and House of Escobar. This one might not have been the hardest (we escaped in 33 minutes with 0 hints), but it was so good. Great theme, great puzzles, great use of area, great flow. Just a super fun time from start to finish. Highly reccomend this one!
