11 escape rooms
It was an okay escape. Our GM seemed a bit distracted or confused when we asked for clues, multiple red-herrings or props that used to work and now served no purpose, and my friend and I kind of felt like discombobulated chickens running around with no real aim the whole time. Two separate puzzles had their answers blatantly written out or handed to you, and most other stuff was just “take this key and unlock another key” vibes. Not remarkable, but not bad.
It was okay. There were a lot of props and references that didn’t aid us at all, like old periodic table references that were complete red herrings and other confusing moments.
Good for a small office space escape, and utilized space well. Some really cool decorative pieces.
Our GM showed up a few minutes behind our initial arrival time (albeit 10 minutes before our start time, but we were instructed to arrive early for waivers/storing belongings) and we had to wait a minute for her to get the room set up. That’s totally understandable given the weather, but she also seemed to not be paying as close attention or wasn’t familiar with the room during our game, as we had to ask multiple clarifying questions about one puzzle for her to finally direct us towards our answer.

There wasn’t a lot of pressure to complete the escape, like the stakes were just sort of there.
