Sev3nNo. 1 Escapes - Main StEscape roomIRLDid it yesterday and had a blast. We got out with 3 mins to spare. It’s kinda weird doing rooms that don’t have timers so occasionally we did have to ask for time checks to make sure we had enough time. On the spooky side but not scary. It also pays to see the movie recently before you play bc of all the Easter eggs and stuff from the movie. Our GM was Joseph and he was great and very helpful

The CabinNumber One Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe visited on a Friday night. There was a few employees scurrying about and a few other players but otherwise was pretty slow there. Pretty standard intro and overview by our GM. She seemed kinda frazzled and not properly focused. Overall she was nice and helpful and did a good job but I have to admit she was probably one of the worst GMs I’ve ever had (I’ve only had 7 and all the others were incredibly good). We still gave a decent tip and had an overall good time. Now onto the room itself. It flowed well, was fairly immersive, didn’t seem too beat up and worn. Not a scary room at all but did have a nice creepy vibe throughout the whole time we were in there. We got out in 45 mins with 4 of us (2 whom had only done 1 other escape room). Probably one of the easiest rooms we’ve done. It had a few pretty creative puzzles that weren’t the standard lock/key situation which I enjoyed. Would definitely go back and do the next one (The Shed). Hopefully we get a better GM who’s a little more charismatic and focused but again, our GM we had did a totally ok job so no real complaints
Elevate: SkyloungeWild Goose Escapes - IrvineEscape roomIRLEven in the middle of winter the starting room was super hot and stuffy. Usually escape rooms are freezing cold but it was the total opposite. After getting out of that area it was better but that start was rough. Other than that it was cool. The non linear aspect kind of made it a little chaotic and we needed a bunch of hints but we got out with 1 min to spare lol. Not bad since my wife and I did it with 2 total noobs. It was a good mix of tech and mechanical puzzles. Our game master I can’t remember her name but she was good. Super fast in responding to us and was super cool and chill. Overall a good experience but we got stuck in that first stuffy hot @$$ room for way too long. By the time we moved onto the main room we only had 29 mins left. It’s a miracle we got out haha
Operation: Christmas Cure [prev. Zombie Rising]Legacy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was the last game we did at legacy as we’ve done all the others. We did this with 2 of our kids and we were able to escape which was great. Excellent atmosphere and game flowed fairly well overall. There was a few moments where the tech didn’t work great bc it was a little worn but still was overall a great experience. Peter our GM was great overall and was attentive and helpful at every turn so we didn’t really need to ask for hints. Wasn’t overly difficult and we were able to get out with 11 mins to spare. Legacy isn’t super innovative and super high tech as it seems alot of it fits into the gen 1 and 2 categories but was still a very fun experience overall. We had a really tough time in one of the other games they have there but this one flowed a lot better and was much more cohesive. There was a few fun surprises which we weren’t expecting that added to the experience for sure. Thanks legacy!
Cabin 13Legacy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe have tried 3 rooms here with 2 adults and 2 kids. The first 2 we lost but this one we escaped with 8:30 to spare. Vicki was great and helpful. Really great this one didn’t have directional locks in it. Not scary at all just a little creepy but even our 8 year old was fine. All rooms here are on the older side but everything still worked and overall flowed well. No issues or complaints really. I’d give an overall 8 out of 10
Sugar RushLegacy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOverall a fun game but we didn’t escape. A lot of locks including a directional lock we couldn’t get to open even tho we knew the code.
