The atmosphere was bright and some of the puzzles nicely thought out, though some of them reacted slow which was a bit of a nuisance. Also the communication with the GM for hints did only really work from the first room as the microphone was there, so one person always had to go back if the hints given didn’t help etc We liked the deco though and the game flow was still no nice though strictly linear and I think with more than 2 / max 3 I wouldn’t recommend to play as probably someone gets bored. On a ⚖️ 1 to 6 = 3: its a standard escape room, no wow elements but nice deco and some good puzzles

Set Design was done nicely and puzzles were fun. We had the feeling that some puzzles either reacted very slow or the GM had to release them, so it was sometimes a little confusing when you thought you solved a puzzle. But knowing you needed a little patience it didn’t bother us. We can recommend the room for beginners and a nice Escape for frequent players as well.
The Murder of Max Sinclair [prev. Case Closed]Case Closed EdinburghEscape roomIRLWe’ve not prepared ourselves for the room but in the end were fully convinced by the concept. The puzzles were clever and the interaction with the game master much of fun. Highlighting the staff, they were cheerful and you felt they played their roles with much joy. We had a really nice chat after the game as well. Plus they have a common room/bar where you can enjoy a drink before the play - definitely a plus when you arrive early as we did. We‘ll definitely try another of their rooms when we come back to Edinburgh.
Lost BusLiveActGamesEscape roomIRLPlaying on a real bus was definitely something different and was nicely done. We also liked the plot. We played in January and although it was really cold outside playing in a jacket and something on your head was perfectly fine as they provided heaters. I think it even added to the overall experience. I am not loving scary games but didn’t want to miss the special atmosphere - and this was totally fine for me.

As soon as you are entering the 2nd room it’s pretty much a wow, not only about the grandeur that unfolds in front of you but also about the meticulous details that are part of each puzzle. We loved it and are looking forward to come back to the other Trip Trap games.

Birth MachineMad MachinesEscape roomIRLFrom the start it was great - beginning with us not being absolutely sure if the game had already started when stepping through the front door. There are puzzles in the room that left us laughing out loud and not sure if they were serious at the same time. Definitely different from everything we had experienced before. Do it if you have the chance. It’s a lot of fun! We’ll be back for the other 2 rooms first thing if/when are in Milan again.
Metropolis 2099Dream LabsEscape roomIRLWe did the game on our second day of the DreamLabs tour and I might say this was my favorite escape game I played so far. From an awe-inspiring set to a great storyline and some cool puzzles and some unexpected twists it was simply amazing. I felt fully immersed in the Bladerunner universe. My husband couldn’t come that time so we’ll go back and I’ll definitely play it again.
Die Legende vom herzlosen Piraten [The Tale of the Heartless Pirate]Dream LabsEscape roomIRLWe played the 2 DreamLabs games one weekend and this was the first I played and the opening sequence was so different from anything experienced so far it left me first confused and then utterly amazed at the same time. Though the kind of interaction is not my preferred style of escape room (no worries, nothing scary), the GM/actor was great and hilarious. Go there and play, it’s absolutely worth it.

The storyline was thought through and the actors super nice - we had a long chat afterwards and you can feel they love what they do. The best outdoor escape we have done so far. If you enjoy something different we’d definitely recommend this experience when in Rome.
Deadly Family AffairEscape Hunt MaastrichtEscape roomIRLEven after a couple of years I remember the game for its potential and unfortunately the experience with the GM. First the good things - the room itself was nice with some good puzzles - and it has been a couple of years so I hope you can have a nice experience there these days. Therefore I thought it fair to explain the negative review. When we were there, a puzzle simply didn’t work. We told the GM, she didn’t believe us for minutes, then she came into the room, tried herself (didn’t work), went to change batteries while leaving us in the room. All in took 10 minutes, she still stopped the game after 60 min, we didn’t make it by the last puzzle (as she informed us) - as well as we were the last customers that day... Most frustrating experience so far but hey, would love to see some good (newer) reviews here. :)
