RockstarCityscape GamesEscape roomIRLWe had a great time at Cityscape with Daniel as our Game Master! What Rockstar lacks in flashy, high tech mechanics, it more than makes up for with a unique (and local!) story with clever puzzles. While there are quite a lot of puzzles, our team of two was able to escape with a bit of time to spare making the difficulty feel medium to hard. Rockstar was clearly made by someone who loves escape rooms and Tacoma--every little detail felt incredibly thought out making the game feel very immersive. I can't wait to see what games Cityscape comes up with in the future!
28 Pasties LaterEscape Rooms Cornwall [prev. Eureka Escape Cornwall]Escape roomIRLWe had a really nice time at 28 Pasties Later. It was a nice mix of puzzle types and a fun story that blends local culture into your typical zombie escape room. Great game master who walked us through the Easter eggs after we escaped. Also, I was worried about it being too scary, but it really wasn't scary at all. More like silly/gory a la Shaun of the Dead than actually scary. Lots of puzzles to keep a team of 4 occupied, but we easily escaped with just two players. Definite must visit if you are in Penzance.
