The puzzles were awesome and a lot of fun to solve, and as usual the tech lived up to expectation and definitely what I am used to seeing from escape ops. I loved almost everything about this room but the room design pulled me out quite a bit.
Mindmaster IndustriesEscape City - CalgaryEscape roomIRLI enjoyed most of this room, the atmosphere was spot on and the tech was impressive, there were a few too many breaks with videos where you had to watch and it slowed us down a lot. The puzzles were easy and not super interesting to solve but I loved how immersive the room felt. Overall the room is great for beginners since the puzzles are quite easy and the experience is super cool, I just wish the puzzles were more satisfying to solve.
Ye Olde Horrible DungeonArcadia Adventures Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room is one of the most immersive rooms I have ever played, it felt like I was exploring an actual wizards dungeon. it felt like every where you looked you could find the detail and thought put into everything! The puzzles were fun with a couple that were very hard, there is a lot to do in this room so make sure you bring a bigger group.

I loved this room, the story was incredible and flowed well, the puzzles all made sense and felt good to solve. The atmosphere was creepy and there are a couple times I actually jumped! There was a good use of tech and it never felt like it was just a puzzle for puzzles sake. Just overall incredible experience, from the start to finish it, even our host was bubbly and cheery until we got to our door and she suddenly flipped to creepy! Just what an amazing escape room.

The room was so cheerful and fun, it was a nice change of pace compared to most escape rooms. The theme was perfect for my kids and they had a great time solving the puzzles and finding hidden cute things around the room. The room itself is beautiful, so many colours and props everywhere, it is a wonderful experience and would suggest this room for any families with younger kids who want to try out escape rooms!
MutinyEscape City - CalgaryEscape roomIRLI was disappointed when playing this as my first room at Escape City, the room itself is beautiful and extremely immersive, but the tech problems soured our experience. The customer service was great and they tried to smooth everything for us, but because one puzzle didn't work we were constantly second guessing our answers wondering if it was us or the puzzle that was wrong. I think this room would be a lot of fun if there were no tech issues but unfortunately for us there was.
The Mystery of Broom Closet 13Arcadia Adventures Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI have played all of the rooms at Arcadia, this room was not as strong as their other rooms but still a very fun escape room. I felt the story was lacking but the puzzles were a lot of fun, a couple of the puzzles felt a little disjointed but after being explained it definitely felt like we should have gotten them or at least pieced them together. I would recommend their other rooms over this one but if you enjoy puzzles this one is still quite a bit of fun.

There are a couple puzzles that just annoyed our team and wasted a lot of our time. Overall the room was just not our teams style of escape room unfortunately.
