KURIOSUM - Artifact of Darkness

Escape Room Witten

Escape room
IRL

We had a lot of fun playing this escape room. The mysterious atmosphere and the thematic elements were very well executed—every little detail felt fitting. The puzzles matched the story perfectly and kept us on our toes from start to finish. It’s clear the creators put a lot of work into building this room!

Not really an escape room as the goal is not to escape, but to explore. Won't spoil too much but it's a nice and original activity to do alone or with friends. You'll be let into the maze individually but you can find your friends along the way. Wear comfy clothes, you'll have to climb and crawl your way through!

Very fun room, original theme and puzzles, good athmosphere and welcoming owner. Would recommend!

Well decorated, good theming, liked the room. No super difficult puzzles but there were some original ones.

Room was fun to play and had some unique features. However theme-wise it could have been decorated better. The rooms feel a bit empty, different artefacts relating to different Harry Potter characters feel thrown together. You don't really feel as if you're in Snape's chambers so you don't get sucked into the story. Still a lot of potential, just lacks a bit of "magic"

A complete house with several floors transformed into an escape room. Very nice flow, some original puzzles, good athmosphere. A shame that this one is closed

Such a shame that this one is closed. Like the Kubus it was a fully wooden room created by one (genius) person. No theme or story, just trying to escape from a wooden maze with a lot of hidden features in the walls. One of the best I have played.

Very cool experience. There's different storylines that you can follow or you can create your own to escape the prison. The actors are very good and the whole athmosphere almost makes you feel as if you're a real inmate. Make sure to make up a story about yourself/your background before you go in ;-)

Fun room, nicely decorated. Most puzzles were doable but we (sadly) stranded on the last one. One of the few rooms we weren't able to escape from, but still liked it and would have done it again if it wasn't closed.
