The ShowdownNerd EscapesEscape roomIRLOur game master was very nice, so even though some elements were a bit disappointing, the experience was positive overall. My main issue with this room was that there were 5 of us in the room, and we all spread out to investigate. Naturally, elements of the room were triggered, but it was difficult to understand what caused it. We ended up solving a couple of puzzles twice because we didn’t understand the effect of what we did. This was the 1st room I’ve been to where the group can be spilt in half and compete. This was unique and a very fun experience. I also enjoyed a lot of the puzzles, but others were, again, confusing. However, I felt challenged by the puzzles, and had an overall pleasant experience. Our game master offered to explain anything that we didn’t understand, but I feel like the room shouldn’t have been so confusing in the 1st place.
