Cornstalkers: Lost in the MaizeThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLThis game was uh-mazing! I legit RAN in parts of this room. At one point I was clutching the middle pillar of the room anticipating the next scare. The room is very large in size, and while I used the full 89 minutes to escape, it was worth it to not feel rushed in the whole story.
Lost CityEscapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLGood room, only wish it was bigger. Had a group of 8 players and it was cramped spacing. Definitely a room I’d recommend for 2-5 players.
Who Stole Mona?Escapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLWas an okay room. Dislike that it’s a one room only gameplay. Takes the fun/adventure out of it. Definitely a fact finding room of piecing together vague correlations!
Escape Jurassic LabThe Masters of EscapeEscape roomIRLFirst dinosaur room and it was pretty cool! Dinosaurs are present in the room, and the decorations in general were immersive. This room is on the harder side of things and probably not geared for young kiddos.
ShipwreckedThe Masters of EscapeEscape roomIRLAnother fun pirate themed room! Enjoyed the high tech nature of the room. Pirate rooms are hard to come by and this one was decorated surprisingly well!
Antidote: Chemical WarfareEscapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLA decent room! Overthought a few of the puzzles (silly lil’ goose moments) where you 100% facepalm. Science geeks could definitely enjoy this room! Wasn’t my favorite room, but didn’t hate it either.
VortexEscape CodeEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed this room! It was on my radar to do for well over a year now, and glad I made the 3 1/2 hour journey to play!
FolkloreEscape CodeEscape roomIRLA cute room, with a blend of mechanical & high tech components. A few puzzles in here were a bit annoying in terms of time killers, but overall the room is decorated in a cute manner that kids and families alike could enjoy.
A Pirate's CurseEscapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLIn general, pirate themed rooms are really hard to impress but this room was clever & fun! A nice mixture of tech & combo locks. Had just shy of 20 minutes left on the clock, so a rather quick room play if you’re experienced. Hosted this as a meet-up room and even the folks who are fairly intermediate in escape rooms enjoyed this one!
Batman™: The Dark Knight ChallengeEscapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLOne puzzle in here I REALLY hated, but other than that I was pleasantly surprised. Played as a group of 3 and had a casual pace to complete the room. Enjoyed the fog elements and the high tech nature of the room.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - LeawoodEscape roomIRLPlayed this exact room at their Vegas location, and LOVED this room. Immediately one of my top five faves! Great for families, kiddos, or fans of Scooby Doo in general!

Booked this for just two people, and I severely underestimated the size and difficulty. Escaped with mere minutes of time, as being just two people there was A LOT to unpack and do in this room. Kept us entertained the full hour (although a few stress points 😬) it was still fun nonetheless!

The ShedNumber One Escape RoomEscape roomIRL10/10 recommend The Cabin Room over this one. First thing I HATED, was there was no room timer so you had absolutely no sense of time, and this really messes you up to know how much you’ve ate up on one puzzle if you’re struggling. Did manage to find the bonus puzzle in this room as well, which had a redeeming quality of feeling like the room was being smarter than me. 😂

The Official SAW EscapeSaw Escape RoomEscape roomIRLNot someplace I could love, but did have fun. The last two rooms were a bit lackluster. More so in terms of the puzzle play was not there. Game guide at end admitted that it’s a pain, and a struggle bus. Why not find something to not have a down fall that causes a negative? 🤷🏻♀️ Otherwise the group I was with was fun to watch get scared!
