Lost CityEscapology - StonestownEscape roomIRLPlayed the Lost City room the other night and the room itself was pretty decent. Stepping into the room, our host explained to us how to ask for hints, what objects/items we are provided to help us throughout the game, and where to input our very last code once we get to that point. Was basically immersed at this point. After they left, the back story began to play and I'll be honest, we're a group that doesn't necessarily care to listen to the story and just want to get to the puzzle. After a couple of minutes of us searching the room and solving puzzles, someone came in and aggressively accused us of ignoring them and their warnings to not be doing anything until the story was over. I will apologize for us beginning to search before the story finished but we did not hear anyone "warning" us at all and during the time the man came in to stop us, I heard a very quiet voice over the intercom that asked if we can hear them now, which yes I hear it now with the background audio not playing but even then it was still very quiet and I could hardly hear them. Overall, the room itself was nice and I think would be an enjoyable room. However, my entire experience was put off and ruined by the poor customer service and aggressive accusation without investigation or confirmation.
