Pandora’s BoxTrapped! Escape Room - Las VegasEscape roomIRLAbsolutely loved our experience here. We only had time to do one room sadly but we chose Pandora's Box and it was fantastic. We are experienced players and blitzed through and completed the game, only to be told we had actually segued into added bonus (more difficult) puzzles without even realising which had kept us entertained and engaged for another 15 to 20 minutes extra. It was a true mark of respect for the players that they had thought of that and that we didn't even realise it had happened. A brilliant touch. The room is very atmospheric with some very clever tech and effects, chatting to a character throughout the game. Our GM was Tori and she was super sweet, fun and good at her role.

I really hope this concept can be recreated somewhere when TimeTrap closes, as it was so enjoyable! Lily was a wonderful GM and we genuinely grinned the whole way through. So well done.

Bit of a false start as some things aren't very clear to begin with but once we were past that, the rest of the room although small had a lot packed into it, and some extremely high tech stuff, which although fancy wasn't always obvious enough. Some very nice puzzles though, things I'd not seen before.

Some superbly clever touches, great tech and puzzles and a real mix of things to do. Only needed one hint for something we had overlooked and Rowen our GM was fantastic. Can't wait to go back and play their other games!

Nice that you get your own route and pace and are not being herded through with another team hot on your tail. Nice merch to buy at the end. As a Sherlock fan I loved it but you don't need to have watched it to enjoy it.

Play this one first and appreciate it, then do all their other rooms too. Just amazing.
Air RaidSuffolk Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSuperbly authentic venue which looks sparse to begin with but hides a lot of secrets. Lots of thinking, finding and unlocking to be done. Such genuine artefacts that I almost felt we really had gone back in time, and some really amazing items I've never seen before. Kevin the owner who hosted us was wonderful and super friendly, you can tell how enthusiastic he is and how much he enjoys it. The campsite that the 'room' is at looks amazing and we are looking to go back and stay there and do another room!
Prison Blues - CLOSEDSuffolk Escape AcademyEscape roomIRLFantastic venue on a huge campsite come activity park. Fab host, and a clever Introductory warm-up that I have never seen before! Room was cleverly built, puzzles fun and plentiful and in-keeping with the theme, with a couple of great moments and use of items I haven't come across in any other room, plus an ingenious hint system! Really loved this game (60 rooms) as did my mum (6 rooms!) Loved the humour too and looking forward to going back for the other room!
Heist - CLOSEDThinking Outside The Box Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWow what can I say. Jason has made an absolutely incredible multi-linear game here, cramming more puzzles into one room than I could have possibly imagined. More than enough to keep you in the room for the full 60 minutes, but knowing you have to get out before then keeps the pressure on! Some incredibly clever uses of items, codes, furniture and information to lead you on multiple paths through this fiendish vault of treasure. We did very well as a two, getting out with £33k. On arrival we had a fantastic intro to the experience, the humour and energy that Jason brings to the experience is awesome, and the "accomplishments" he awards you are sublime. I would say that some things were looking a little tired in the room and/or were not operating optimally, but it didn't really hamper the game. With all the will in the world I truly hope this experience opens up again in a new location with refreshed interior and when it does you must go do it.
Madame Curio's Cirque Delirium - CLOSEDTrappd Peterborough Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLTheme of a cute carnival funfair doesn't match the advertising of a scary clown and the word "delirium". A great looking room at first and so much fun completing all the sideshow games to get parts of the puzzles, but lots of bits were tired, broken, and some just downright dangerous. Could be a fantastic room with some time and energy spent reviving it.
Chambre 101 Fouilles en Cité Vénète [Room 101 Excavations in the Venetian City]Hotel EvasionEscape roomIRLWe were a group of 8 on holiday in the area who had emailed in advance to check we could play in English and told yes for this one. We split into two teams of 4, with a mix of those for whom this was their first ever escale, right through to me who has now done 90. On arrival our GM Melanie was superb, conversing with us in English or French as we needed. Apart from some parts of the game such as the Introductory video, some documents and labels which were in french, which we did not need to specifically use, the things that mattered were converted to English for us. The room is well decorated, the puzzles logical, fun and fitted the theme. Some great hiding places, use of tech and several bits of secret humour (for the more keen escapees who are able to translate them) which added to the experience. Also some brilliant use of retro tech which we found very enjoyable! Thoroughly enjoyed this room.
Reclassified - CLOSEDBreakout LiverpoolEscape roomIRLThe venue is nice, very inclusive and spacious. Maddie was a super sweet GM and very happy to work with us in terms of only if and when we wanted clues. The room was a little plain but there were some instant things we could solve and make progress. It is fairly linear with barely any searching to do and some physical and skill puzzles as well as logic and locks. One puzzle got "stuck" so we had to be given the answer as the reveal was no sadly longer possible. But apart from a few short moments of hmmm what next, we had some lovely aha moments and the puzzles were varied and mostly enjoyable. Would just be good to see some care and attention given to rooms in venues such as this. Also some clanking and dragging chains in the walls between us and another room next door were a bit distracting! Enjoyed it on the whole if not the best room we have done.
The Bomb - CLOSEDCambridge Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSme very clever tech components and traditional puzzle elements which kept our brains working but never gave us much trouble. Nice little room if a little tired looking. Certainly one to play and enjoy at this brilliant location.
