Escape room

Definitely the most immersive room I’ve ever been in!! From the story to the decorations to the puzzles, it truly felt like we were on a mission to find the treasure. I will say that this was one of the biggest rooms I’ve ever done with the most amount of locks and puzzles. I would recommend at least 6 people as you will need to do a lot of running around. I would also recommend not wearing black pants as you will be crawling. Our game masters were SUPER nice and stuck to their characters to make it that much more immersive. Would love to do the rest of their games for this company and would recommend it to all enthusiasts!

Wild Goose Escapes - Irvine

We saw this game was closing on their Instagram so our group wanted to try it out on February 1st Lol! Walking into the room, it immediately felt like it was Christmas time again. I think my favorite Christmas one so far! There was a lot of puzzles which made it feel overwhelming but having a group of 3-4 people is a good amount. It was a nonlinear room as well.

This room was very well done in mixing mechanical locks and technical locks. The technical aspect was a lot of new experiences for us and haven’t seen a room do it the way they do. Overall a very immersive room and would highly recommend! This room is much bigger than the Black and White Cafe and I would recommend at least 3 for enthusiasts. Only downside is there is no physical timer in the room to let you know how much time has elapsed. You get an update on time every 15 minutes or unless you request one.

Ever since I found this room off Morty I’ve been dying to do it and we finally did! Man I loved everything about this little cafe! I would say for escape room enthusiast you’ll enjoy a little more of a challenge with only 2 people like we did. If you want to experience the game a little easier I would say 3-4. The room is small but also non-linear which is why I recommend the different amount of people. This room has puzzles that were very different from other rooms with a mixture of mechanical and high tech. It was a lot of fun!

The Escape Game - Irvine

This room was fun and one of the more difficult rooms 8/10. It was interesting to feel like you were in a tiny art museum. I would recommend a group of 4-5 people for this room since it was a smaller room. Our GM was cool and we always love doing escape rooms at this company. The GM couldn’t tell me if the room was linear when I asked but it was.

This room was one of the more immersive rooms I’ve done. It truly felt like walking into a recording studio to get ready for the battle of the bands. With the help from our roadie we were able to escape fairly easily. It’s one of the easier rooms we’ve done as the puzzles weren’t complex or hard to understand. The beginning was slightly hard to get started but once we got going it was easy to find the next puzzle to solve. We loved all of the technical aspects of the room and getting to play instruments. No musical experience/ knowledge is needed! Super beginner friendly and a fun atmosphere. This company does hold Zoe reborn so sometimes in the waiting room we could hear the music through the walls. Our GMs were great and Clover was so nice to answer all of our questions about Zoe when we finished our own room.

We wanted to redeem our experience from Antidote since it was just simple by doing a bit of a harder room for the two of us with Lost City. It was giving an Indiana Jones vibe, the atmosphere in this room was a lot better! Like the other ratings there is this one puzzle that you get stuck on which took a lot of our time but we escaped it using all of our “free” hints. This room is also linear and I would suggest about 2-3 people at least.

This was our first escape room ever in San Francisco, however we do plenty in Orange County. This room is one the easier medium side of things it was a decent room to do nothing special or amazing just okay. We don’t know if it was just us but the music was pretty intense. We understand the aesthetic of music in an escape room but it didn’t match the ambiance. It was very simple linear room.

Mission Manor

While I was impressed with the idea of the room and the hidden doors that’s about all I liked. There wasn’t anything wrong with the room just nothing exciting or new either. The puzzles were mainly physical with almost all lock combos. Understanding which puzzle’s clues lead to which locks were confusing at times. Would definitely recommend doing with more than 2 people as there were things we overlooked as we were pressed on time. Unfortunately we didn’t get out in time but our game master Mal was nice enough to let us finish.
Jester [prev. Jester's Revenge]
No. 1 Escapes
Escape room

The beginning of this room is technically started in 2 different rooms as they split your group. For the most part the room was linear and the puzzles were a mix of mechanical and high tech. Unfortunately there is no clock/timer so you won’t know how long you have left unless you ask. Would recommend having 3-4 people for this room but can be managed with 2. There were a few puzzles that they had that we’ve never seen before so it took us some time to figure them out. Crawling is required. The puzzles and flow of the room was overall about average.
