The owners played dirty when they initially said, “This furniture isn’t part of the game, so you don’t need to worry about it,” and when we asked for a clue, they said, “The things I said aren’t part of the game are actually part of the game”… so incredibly unfair!! It was like they wanted us to fail! On top of that, you felt like an attraction because the room had a display window facing the street. After an hour had passed, we had apparently only managed about 65% of the room. It felt like they’d crammed in as many tricky puzzles as possible and designed it to make you fail. This was because they wanted you to come back and do the same room again. They actually said afterward that anyone who fails gets to come back and do the room again at a discounted price. Truly a room made solely to make money and one that gives escape rooms in general a bad reputation.
