Wong's ChineseThe Perfect EscapeEscape roomIRLAmazing theme with some of the most immersive elements I've ever seen. They treated us great. Some of the puzzles are extremely challenging, especially for a group of only 2.
Enchanted CottageGrapevine EscapeEscape roomIRLAmazing experience! The GM, Amber, modified our time based on us getting there early and was excellent. The room is fantastic with a lot of fun and unique puzzles. A good mix of thinking and physical challenges. Can't wait to try their other rooms.
The Real Unreal [Immersive Art]Meow WolfEscape roomOther Third Meow Wolf and thus was my favorite! The house theme was incredible and they incorporate smells which was a nice touch.
The GiftRed Door Escape Room - SacramentoEscape roomIRLFun room!! Our GM Alex was great. Very lock based but those of us from the original days are good with that when done well. Room flowed with no hiccups. Everything made sense with a few good puzzles to make you think. Only complaint is we thought something would work but it skirted the rules so we didn't do it and it was needed so I'd suggest they update their opening explanation of rules. Not a room for a lot of people, we were 2 and made it out with ample time.
The Tears of FreyaMystic Escape Room - DenverEscape roomIRLVery cool technical room. Felt like it wouldn't be linear but ended up being pretty linear at times. All the puzzles were well done and made sense.
Operation NightwalkerKey and Code Escape Rooms - SparksEscape roomIRLThe room had a lot of loud sounds, was dark mostly the whole time, and the puzzles were very traditional. Because of the sounds it made it hard to communicate between our team. The darkness and limit of only 3 flashlights made some players disengage. Some of the clues provided implied the game master was not following along with our progress and while we knew what to do, the technology was particular on how to interact which sometimes was not intuitive.
Viking’s Hammer – RagnarökKey and Code Escape Rooms - SparksEscape roomIRLOne of Key and Code's better rooms! They're doing a good job upgrading some of their older rooms. We had 4 of us and everything flowed well with some fun puzzles! A lot of symbol puzzles.
The StorykeeperLocurioEscape roomIRLAmazing room! There were some cool sceneries and the puzzles were challenging but flowed very well. Very nice game master and we were treated well doing both rooms back to back.
The Vanishing ActLocurioEscape roomIRLVery challenging room for 2 people. We had a blast playing it and were only 2 puzzles away from finishing. Afterwards was surprised the room is 11 years old. Everything worked and there weren't a lot of signs of wear and tear. Puzzles were mostly "make you think" versus do something, so bring your brain in tip top shape. Very nice game master and we were treated well doing both rooms back to back.
Spell StruckThe Escape Artist - West SeattleEscape roomIRLVery awesome room! Had three interactive areas and each was unique. The theme is great and the puzzles all tied to it well. A couple unique puzzles and some really well done ones we've seen before.
Dive To AtlantisThe Escape Artist - West SeattleEscape roomIRLFun mechanical room with a few unique puzzles. Had a good time and our game master was awesome. Some of the equipment is showing it's age with squeaking and one had a sensitive control.
Booze CluesVirgin VoyagesEscape roomIRLOn a Virgin Voyages cruise. You pay extra but it includes enough drinks to cover the cost. You get grouped with others and solve clues along a crawl of the ships bars. Each clue solved gets a drink. The Happenings cast lead the way as detectives and make sure everyone eventually gets the answer. Depending on the group your with would make or break it for an enthusiast I'd think. We had a good group that all participated in a fun team way. Afterwards we all hung out for a while talking. The puzzles were somewhat unique with some being a little challenging and others being easy. I'm glad we did it!
BiohazardDeadline Escape Rooms 2Escape roomIRLDeadline did it again with a great fun room! Amazing use of technology with a good blend of keys. There's a regular or challenging version. We did the challenging one as a team of two and had 6 minutes left. A few very unique puzzles where a beginner may get caught up not noticing a puzzle prompt. But for an enthusiast it flows perfectly!
Stag PartyMind Twist Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLFun non linear game. A collection of traditional puzzles.
Attic ArchivesPuzzle Room TahoeEscape roomIRLSaw a new room and took a chance this past memorial day. It's located inside the Ballys casino and was easy to find. The puzzles were very linear and it's a room with a lot of open space. Some of the puzzles require sit down focus and aren't really group activities. As a party of 4 it felt empty and slow. There were a couple puzzles that didn't seem to trigger accurately though the GM didn't acknowledge that. One of the more difficult puzzles was interesting by it's nature but I don't know how they'd expect someone new to games to not get frustrated. We figured it out quick because it's not our first rodeo (or 100th). I think they should rework some of this room and add to it because they have the space to do so. Our GM let us play a very cool dart game for 20 minutes after we got out! That was nice and I'd go play darts there again!
Escape the Darkest Hour: Torture ChamberMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWe found this room to be creative but easy. Could have easily had a handful more puzzles. Very traditional lock technique in a linear fashion. They treated us great and it's easy to find.
Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's BigfootThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLWowsa! We did all 3 rooms in a row and they were super nice in accommodating an early start so we'd finish and catch our flight. Very nice GM Jackson, that helped us with all 3 games. The atmosphere of this place is on a different level. You have to "find" the entrance to get in which is always a fun twist. The lobby area is amazingly decorated and could easily be a late night hang out spot. Quality of gameplay was awesome with all 3 games but I'll rank them from what I preferred. This room for me was the easiest but had some unique aspects that I haven't seen in a camp ground set before. It wasn't linear at parts but all came together nicely. Had some motion at one point that was realistic and a great experience. I could see kids having a blast in this room.

This was the hardest room for me. It's really fun with some awesome interactions like next level makes you think "I can't believe that happened in an escape room" stuff. But we got stuck a lot because with only two minds it was hard to juggle all the inputs. Definitely a 4+ person room. Our GM paused our time and let us finish which is sort of like cheating but he didn't tell us. I loved the final room and could see it being a blast with a bunch of friends! The finale getting out of the room was some magic trickery!!!

My favorite here and the one I'd recommend if you only have time for one. Absolutely in my top 5 now! There are some puzzles that will drive you nuts (in a good way) and some that make you wonder if this room ruins bssic escape rooms for you? I loved the finale here and it felt like you were in an animotronic Disney ride interacting with a character. Wow!!!!s
Escape From AlcatrazNorth Valley Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe attempted with just two of us. It is a BIG room and has a lot of tough puzzles. It is a very fun room with a lot of creativity! Hands down the best prison game I've done but you really benefit from more minds. It's fun and I highly recommend!
