Wow! This was our favorite room that we played from the Paradox Project. As others have mentioned, these rooms are huge and very immersive. Very challenging and novel puzzles. Being from the USA and doing lots of USA escape rooms, we are used to logical flow through rooms and needing very minimal help from the game master. That is not the case in this room, you may need quite a bit more help than you are accustomed to needing so don't be shy about asking. You really should do the Mansion first if you have the time, it is also a really great room but the Bookstore is definitely even more impressive.

We really enjoyed this room, it's very immersive and there are lots of rooms to explore. What I wish we knew going in is that you should expect to need a fair amount of hints and clues from the game master. We were initially kind of frustrated because we are used to needing very minimal hints but quickly realized that we definitely needed help with the flow of some puzzles which were either not explicitly linked or very subtly linked. We only do non-horror rooms so this was a solid option for us in Athens.

Definitely a must play with the Bookstore when you are in Athens. It's the whole package - many rooms, immersive story and creative/challenging puzzles. Some complain about the age of the room and it is true that some elements look a bit tired/worn and there is not a ton of tech but we still loved the Mansion because of the awesome puzzles and many rooms. Don't be afraid to ask for help during the game - we had to request a lot of hints along the way which is something that we do very sparingly in the USA where most of our escape room experience has been.

This is a really great room, however, I think that its timing in our play schedule affected our opinion more than anything else. We did this in the evening after doing the Bookstore in the morning. In retrospect, 6+ hours of escape room in one day was a bit more than we could handle. Also, this room had to follow the Bookstore which was one of the best rooms that we have ever played. The Music Academy has the immersive story and many rooms that you expect from the Paradox Project. We got bogged down in a couple places because of our own fatigue and one malfunctioning puzzle element but overall it was a really excellent experience. I really enjoyed the ending of this one - I will say no more.

This was a cool room with tons of technology (lots of special effects, automation). We really appreciated the large quantity of puzzles and the time and attention that was put into the room and the immersive experience of the story line. Definitely book this room if you enjoy rooms with lots of tech and effects. The only downside is that many of the puzzles were pretty simple and with the linear design, sometimes it felt like just following directions. In any case we really enjoyed the room and we're glad that we played but we enjoyed Lab Rat more for the heavier focus on the puzzles.

Really immersive and fun room. Lots of fun and novel puzzles that didn't involve combo locks (only one time during the whole experience did we use a combo lock). Just fyi, this place is all 18+. For this room it is not because of the content but because they seem to be really worried about kids damaging their rooms. We luckily got a sympathetic manager who let us play with our 10 year old but I would not book again because we can't play with the whole family.
