Matchday MayhemBreakout KC - River MarketEscape roomIRLThe room had a fun theme unique to KC. There is a lot of soccer terminology used in some of the puzzles, but you don’t *need* to know anything about soccer to solve them. Everything you need to know is spelled out for you. There were some puzzle types we’ve never encountered before, but also a lot of keypads and padlocks. Some of the spaces were pretty cramped and do require some crouching/crawling. There are a lot of things to keep track of and take to further rooms much later on in the game, but it was generally intuitive what goes with what. You just have to remember where you left it.
The Apocalypse LabThe Ohio State ReformatoryEscape roomIRLOverall, it was a fine game, and worth doing if you have time after doing a tour of the prison. The price was very reasonable, and it was unique because there aren’t many escape rooms inside (former) prisons.
