Cursed Isle - CLOSEDDaytona Escape Room ExperienceEscape roomIRLI was really excited about trying this escape room out, but I was very disappointed with The Cursed Isles game play. To be honest, I’m wondering if the game master would have just gave us hints rather than straight up telling us the answers to the puzzle would have been nice. I feel like you shouldn’t have to start off by telling us the answer to a puzzle we haven’t even began exploring…I was mainly bummed we didn’t get to just fully look at it all of the clues. Had we had the time to really look at everything in the room uninterrupted maybe we would have saw the things we needed to progress in the game. I found it very distracting. I understand that maybe the Game Master was trying to be helpful, but for us is wasn’t. I felt there were some red herrings in this room. Especially in the beginning of the game. I think this room needs either reworking or retire.
Baldwin ManorEscape Artists - ColumbusEscape roomIRLThis room is perfect for 2 people! I do think it would go faster with 3-4 people. My husband and I really enjoyed the magical dark arts theme. The only part that was tricky was it being a darker room and there was only one flash light. It made it hard for two people to separate and look for other clues. There was one hiccup in a puzzle where we had it right and it wasn’t working properly. Therefore, the GM had to tell us the code so we could move on. Otherwise great room and set design!
Saving Christmas - CLOSEDEscape JoplinEscape roomIRLLoved how immersive this room was. We had a group of four and were able to divide and conquer! There were two locks in the room were very sensitive and it had to be just right to unlock so watch out for that!
Space WarsNWA Escape Room - BentonvilleEscape roomIRLWas not immersive, clues were hard to understand and not explained well, and puzzles were ok.
