Escape the Seven Seas: McRaven's RevengeEscape Stirling - ArcadeEscape roomIRLI arrived at opening to ask if I could play the room alone (provided I bought the minimum 2 tickets) and the staff was incredibly accommodating; they let me know that there were a lot of things to find in the room and that it could be difficult for one person, but it wasn't impossible. I came back later and the staff member remembered me and was excited to run the room. There was a great mix between interactive and lock-style mechanisms, and though there were a few tricky moments where the specificity of how to solve something (ex. I put an object facing the wrong direction) wasn't immediately intuitive, the GM helped to identify and work through those moments with clues that were helpful but not too obvious/intrusive. It was a great experience overall.
Attic AdventureHigh Rock AdventuresEscape roomIRLThe game was amazing to do with some casual escape room friends. I think it would be a little simple, both in the story/atmosphere and the puzzles, for more hardcore escape room goers. That said, they had quite a few unique solves that weren't just your standard "here's a four digit code to put into a lock," which was great.
