Hey there! I'm an escape room game master and avid escape room enthusiast from Cleveland, Ohio. As of the time of writing this on Sunday, March 31st, 2024, I am about to play my 21st escape room this evening - but that number is always growing! If you're looking at my reviews, here's a few things I can clarify in case you may be confused as to my thought processes: -4 is my "magic number" for pretty much every escape room. 2-3 is definitely doable with the right people, but having a 4th one definitely gives you the best bet. Any more than 4 and I feel it gets too crowded and "noisy," if you will. -12 is pretty much always my recommended age for (adult-oriented) escape rooms as I don't think younger children would be able to enjoy them as much. The only reason I'd go higher than 12 is because of unique elements like scariness. -You won't see me put any escape room into the "easy" category as I don't find any escape room to be easy. All rooms require creative thinking and will be tricky at times. -Just for the sake of having to be on your feet and moving around, I will always say a room is at least "somewhat" physically engaging.
