The Millionaire's VillaFun and secretsEscape roomIRLHonestly, it had potential but this is someone’s actual house, with someone’s actual things (ie their washing had finished in the washing machine). It was hotter than I’ve EVER been with NO air conditioning in the height of summer - I think that really ‘dampened’ my experience. There was so much ‘DO NOT TOUCH’ things that it got a bit distracting. It’s all hands off with the host - no interaction at all. It’s all done online via QR codes. Then..the owner came in and stopped the game, and tried to explain how to play..talking through each step of puzzle one. He didn’t realise we’d done lots of the clues and puzzles already and then said ‘oh sorry, continue’. Took a bit of time and was a bit of an awkward point. Honestly, it was just so hot. I didn’t want to DISLIKE it as it had parts that were OK. I wouldn’t recommend doing it in the summer, or driving a particular distance for it. It was very DIY-es que and low budget. The heat though..we were absolutely soaked through!
