Tesla's Time MachineNext Level Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis and The Thompsons are probably my favourite of the rooms at this location! The GM did have to come in a couple times when something didn’t trigger correctly, which was a little annoying. There was also another finicky puzzle I would have no problem throwing out the window/not finishing except for the fact that you needed to in order to open the last door, lol. Still, the staff was very nice and let us see how the room played out. Did as a duo but would probably recommend three people unless you’re pretty experienced!

Glad we got to try before they retire this one :) Was surprised to hear this was their most difficult room- I think they can afford to add more puzzles to whatever they replace this with! Sarah was exceedingly nice. Will be back!
The Devil's ChapelReady Set Go Adventures - TorontoEscape roomIRLWOO~ another scary RSG room!! Super fun with some great actor moments throughout. Easier than VHS imo but I did like this set more. We had a team of 6 but it might as well have been 5 because I was too scared to be of any use 😂 Lots of space to run around. Would recommend for a fun and spooky time!

The Looking Glass sets are always top notch~ it really does feel like you’re in a cozy, magical shop :) On the easier side so my friend and I were able to take our time and appreciate everything- escaped in 45m with no hints.
ProhibitedEscape Manor ElginEscape roomIRLNot their best room, but we still had a good time! Fairly first gen with a lot of areas that could use some polishing up. Would choose from one of their other escapes before doing this one. Hoping EM revamps this one like they did with their Illusionist room because it still holds a lot of promise. Love me a speakeasy vibe! 🥃 Staff was lovely, as always.
The Show Must Go OnEscape Manor ElginEscape roomIRLGiving a heart, as this has been my favourite Escape Manor room so far. Also maybe a little biased as this is the first ER I’ve done with my momma (lol so it’s great for an enthusiast + beginner!) ❤️ :) I’m really happy to see this company evolving and improving with each new room. This one definitely felt the most thought-out, from the set to the puzzles to the storytelling. I also liked the actor interactions and how it wasn’t your standard “escape”. Loved the themed puzzles- including one I haven’t done before! Glad they revamped their Illusionist room as this one definitely felt like an improvement (and still felt new, so don’t worry if you’ve already done Illusionist). Would recommend doing hard unless maybe there’s just two of you and you’re both beginners. Had a fantastic GM/actress (I believe her name is Vin!) who knocked it outta the park!
Possédé [Possessed]A/Maze: Escape Game - HochelagaEscape roomIRLNot really scary! My first time at the Hochelaga location and I already liked this one more than all the Plateau rooms, lol. A lot more spacious. Good variety of non-linear puzzles. ☺️ Very nice staff at this location! They gave us five extra minutes to complete the room. 🙅🏻♀️ Mild spoiler: encountered one of my ER pet peeves- word lock answer was a nonsensical word
Warp Inc. Version 2026Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWith my whole chest, I would put Immersia as one of the top 5 escape companies in Canada. Their ✨immersion and seamless ability to blend puzzles and storytelling are always top notch, and I had a fantastic time in this room. That being said, this is one of their easier offerings, so I would probably choose one of their others if family-friendly isn’t your priority and you’re only able to do a few! 🪩 Immersia always curates a vibe. Fantastic production value as always. 📻 Sound design is 10/10! It’s always a bit annoying when you’re in an ER and something is either way too loud and distracting or you can’t hear the information. No complaints here! 🧩 This one is great for families. I played this as a duo and we were able to take our time and really appreciate the sets. 😂 Without spoiling anything, I love how Immersia goes above and beyond with their storytelling and really attempts to give you a fun narrative experience. I love a twist!

I would agree with the reviews that say to treat this more like a “haunted house” experience with less focus on the puzzles. I would also say YMMV as to the scary level- I played this with a friend I’ve done scary escapes with before and she ended up noping out at the beginning for this one! 👹 Pretty great actor appearances! I also liked the costuming. 📣 This one did feel a bit sensory overload at times (although I’m sure that’s on purpose). I would turn the volume down just a notch in certain situations were it up to me haha 🔦 Sometimes it was too damn dim!!! Again, probably on purpose lol 🚨 Mild spoiler / not so humble-brag Got the good ending. Whateva 😎
The Witches of EverwinterConfundrum Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room is cuter and more family-friendly than you would gather from the poster (or am I the only one getting spooky vibes from it lol). Tech based locks and puzzles on the easier side. Played as a duo with no hints and escaped with 8m left. 🕯️ There was a puzzle in the first room that we’ve been told has been left broken for a while, which was disappointing. 📕 I generally dislike long-winded narratives during an escape- c’mon guys, integrate that into the puzzles! But I can kind of get it since this is a family room… but nah. Either trim or get rid of it lol. Staff at Confundrum are always super nice! Will be back for more escaping :)

This one wasn’t as difficult or scary (no live actor lol) but still just as fun. A great variety of puzzles and as always with RSG, plenty of space to spread out. We spoke to the manager after and she mentioned their new location was set to have 5 new rooms total, and one is supposed to feature a live actor! Excited for it.
RobotcalypseOmventure - MarkhamEscape roomIRLAlmost any Omventure room will be better than your average escape room. That being said, Robotcalypse was good but didn’t blow me away. 🚀 I think the first bit overstayed its welcome; they could have trimmed a lot the repetitive parts to make this a solid 1h or 75m room instead. 🦾 As always, fantastic set design. I liked how different the rooms felt from each other. 🤖 A very ambitious ending! I think the execution probably fell slightly short, but impressive nonetheless. I think this would be especially great as a family room.

The WinemakerEscape Manor ElginEscape roomIRLHardest room at this location, imo. 3 people is probably the sweet spot. Fun with a mildly creepy vibe! There’s a certain type of puzzle I often see used in Escape Manor rooms that I find super annoying and that I saw twice in this escape!! It requires an insane amount of brainstorming combination orders and inputs. Just feels like a time sink, but maybe that’s on purpose since this is meant for a larger group. Don’t know if I’m alone in feeling like this lol, someone back me up here.

None of the weird, vague descriptions of this room could have prepared me for it, which I loved (feels like the less you know the better). GM was fantastic. This is an extremely first gen room: I’m talking a lockbox inside a lockbox. Wouldn’t have more than three people and there is a portion where crawling is required of at least one person.
Candy LandNext Level Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI’ve had a great time playing NL’s rooms and am so happy they’re expanding. Super nice staff and have had a great time each time I’ve visited. Candyland was super cute and fun- loved following the storyline and all the themed puzzles. A good amount to do! 🧁 Would probably rate this more medium than easy. 🍭 The AI stuff is breaking my heart! Next Level! You’re creatives, I know you don’t gotta be doing all that 😭
