We had such a great time at Slasher’s and are definitely going to come back again! For an Ax Throwing location, this one was very attentive, detail-oriented, interactive, and immersive. The bar becomes animated, so be sure to watch out for it every hour! The creators are the same ones from Crossroads Escape Rooms, so for horror enthusiasts, this was the Place because each lane had a “villain,” the bar had themed horror movie/villain drinks, and they even had a horror/scary movie playing. (When we were there, it was Poltergeist lol). I would highly recommend this place for sure!

Such a great escape room game! This by far has been one of the most Fun I have ever done because of the set design, the puzzles, and our Game Master was SO in character! Would definitely recommend Jewel of the Sea!

By far, one of my favorite escape rooms to have ever been played! If you enjoy horror movies and creepy themes, this is the escape room for you! My group and I call this escape room the “initiation” escape room because it builds teamwork, communication, and trust. (Just a heads up that they do blindfold you in the beginning). The theme is not scary, just creepy, but as a fan of horror movies, this escape room played homage to some of my favorite horror movies through the puzzles, game play, and set designs. Would highly recommend this escape room!!
Villains Vendetta
Exodus Escape Room - Anaheim Hills, CA
Escape room
IRL
This was definitely one of my favorite non-scary/fun escape rooms! The theme was cute and the puzzles were very unique and creative. This was a non-linear escape room which made it more interactive and fun to complete because we were able to work as a team on the same puzzles, but also work separately to divide and conquer. I would highly recommend this escape room. It’s been one of my favorites at Exodus Escapes!

I had a great time in this escape room! You have the option to play as a team or competitively, and of course we played competitively lol. The set design was impressive and the puzzles truly were easy, medium, and hard. Each puzzle was so unique and intricate, and it was interesting to see our own attempts on the same puzzles. I completed it with one other player, and we weren’t able to solve all of the puzzles, understandably. I would recommend 4-6 players because of the space and the complexities of the puzzles that were presented, but overall, I enjoyed it and would have loved to replayed this room! Unfortunately they are closing November 17th, so I’ll miss this escape room location.
Starship | Interstellar Escape

We had a really great time playing Starship! The atmosphere really does make you feel like you’re in space, the puzzles flowed and were manageable to solve, and the storyline was coherent. We had a lot of laughs together! Our Game Master was SO in character and added to the game play experience! I would highly recommend this escape room!
Edeline
Cloud Escape
Escape room
IRL
Out of the other rooms at Cloud Escape, this escape room has been one of the best! I was invested in the storyline and the game play was interactive, immersive, and unique. This escape room is dimly lit-darkness at some points. There are no live actors present, but there are moments that might make you jump due to the music, lighting, and unlocking of puzzles. This escape room does a really great job at utilizing its space and immersing you in the story of Edeline. I would highly recommend Edeline!
The Den
The Cromwell Estate
Escape room
IRL
I really loved this escape room and it was one of my favorites! So sad that it closed. There was a scare actor and she was intense, but she made the room so much more immersive for the theme of being at the “Cromwell Estate” in the winter time. The puzzles were challenging, but manageable and there were multiple rooms, so the experience was a lot of fun! The storyline was cohesive, the game master was helpful and in character, and the escape room really felt like you were at someone’s estate. The props, the costumes, the make up, everything was perfect!
SEV3N
Deceptive Games
Escape room
IRL
This has definitely been one of my favorite escape rooms ever played! Hex Room at Crossroads will always be my #1 favorite (and I will die on that hill) and the 13th Basement will be my 2nd, but Sev3n at Deceptive Games just made 3rd place. I cannot say enough about this room. Sev3n, including the other rooms at Deceptive Games, are very high quality escape rooms between the storyline, props, and game play. Sev3n is a smaller space, but they utilized the space very well and efficiently. The props were very important and sufficient in solving the puzzles, and it was helpful to know that the puzzle boxes were nearby the puzzles themselves. This escape room is non-linear, so it’s important to communicate and DIVIDE AND CONQUER! Each major sin had its own difficulty level, so I would recommend a team of 3+ because it could be very challenging with a group of 2, depending on each player’s skill level. I played as a group of 3 the first time around and we didn’t escape (but were close), and then I played again as a group of 2 and just solved the other puzzles that I didn’t solve in the first round. The 2nd time as a group of 2, he escaped (if you know, you know), so it was fulfilling for me to see how Sev3n actually would have ended. Over all, I had such a great time and I’m truly sad this place is closing! I can’t wait to see where they relocate and what rooms they open up next.
The Stolen Relic
Intrepid Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
We went on Halloween, and it was a lot of fun being in costume while trying to retrieve the Stolen Relic! The puzzles and game play were linear, so be aware that you have to solve the puzzles in a specific order. Our Game Master was very attentive and had a great sense of humor when we got stuck and needed assistance. We had 4 players and felt that it was a sufficient amount of people for this kind of escape room.
