Escape room

One of the most impressive rooms out there. Might be my top fave out of 45 so far! The concept and goal is so different. The set design is on a different level. The puzzles are clever and it flows well. It definitely transports you into the themed realms it’s meant to. There were times I was mesmerized and had to remember time was ticking! 😂 I HIGHLY recommend this room if you are in Boston or if you travel to do escape rooms. It’s a MUST-DO!

Very busy room with an array of puzzles using many senses which I appreciated! Non-linear which is also cool. Set design was amazing! We had a strong team of 6 with all different levels of experience and skill sets and it was a fantastic time! Highly recommend this room!

Our group of 5 played this room as our second escape room of the night. It had been on our wishlist and we wanted to see what its hype was all about. We figured it out very fast! I’m not sure I’ve ever heard “this room is so cool” so many times while we were still playing! It’s truly an immersive experience from the moment you step into it. Great mix of puzzles-something for all skillsets. Non-linear. I would say 4-5 is a good number for this room (it is 75 min). 2-3 if experienced. 6+ and it’s going to be hard to move around well. I felt like I had stepped into a brilliantly designed theme park or film set one. This room is a must play!

Very, very clever theme dichotomy here! Set design was really cool and there were definitely unexpected things! Can completely understand why this room gets such high reviews and I really loved it all around!

This is one of the must-do rooms in LA. Heads up not to get there too early because there is NO lobby or waiting room so you will wait outside until the GM brings you in. It’s an immersive experience right from the start. It’s puzzle-heavy and non-linear so PLENTY for everyone to do. There’s a reason you’re given 90 minutes! 6-8 is a good number of players for this room but I wouldn’t do it with less than 4 people. We had a group of 8 and it worked nicely. I had read that divide and conquer was the name of the game for this room and I completely agree. Super fun experience!

So…I have to admit this is the only time I’ve legit I’ve EVER had a bit of anxiety before a room. It’s talked about as one of the scariest rooms out there. A bit surprising for me as I love all things horror and scare factors. I can honestly say I had a BLAST in this room!! First off, go into it with real expectations. It’s more thriller theater experience than escape room. Our group agreed it was about 75% experience and 25% puzzles. Still absolutely worth doing! It is QUITE immersive and our GMs Zach and Renee were amazingly fantastic! I couldn’t believe the job they did and I’ve worked in the TV/film industry! I would recommend a larger group for this. We had 7 and it was perfect but 5-8 is a good range. If you have any kind of mobility issues or problems with crawling FAST (and dropping to crawl and getting back up-thinking military exercises in some cases) this is NOT the room for you. There were times where we could legit claim cardio workouts and were sweating. You wear jumpsuits and knee pads and they are SOOOO appreciated. But it gets hot. The puzzles aren’t super hard but let’s just say the theater side of things can interfere with your brain focusing on the puzzle side of things. 😂 All in all….I would HIGHLY recommend this room to anyone physically able and not so scared they can’t have live actors touch you. It checks ALL the boxes- unique, immersive, different endgame, set design, overall experience!

If you want to do a horror themed room except horror isn’t your thing, this is your room! Not saying you won’t be scared but at the same time there is lots of humor too! The owners are so so friendly and went out of their way showing us around. So many cool puzzles and immersion was also great! And just when you think you’re done…. Loved this room!

This is the other room family owned, created, and designed by the owners of The Mush Room. Again, super cool set design and the talent is nothing short of amazing. Tuesday, our game master and the daughter who designed the room is just the best. Her personality reflects how much she loves escape rooms (both creating and GMing them). The lobby blew me away so that was the first giveaway. Be on the lookout for the special guest in the lobby! The room is another cool concept with fun puzzles. Gotta play this room! Their two rooms are fun back to back although I think I would do this room first and end with The Mush Room if times workout for you.

A lot of fun, definitely novel in some aspects. We escaped with only 2 people but if less experienced, definitely want 3-4. I enjoyed being able to do some things in here that you are never supposed to do (usually) in escape rooms. Flowed well. The puzzles were pretty cool and there were many different kinds. My piece of advice here is don’t get distracted and if you think it, go for it! Great choice for my 50th room and having done another of theirs, I knew it would be!

Hands down one of the coolest, most unique rooms I’ve done. The immersion was amazing as was the set design. I want so badly to say all of the cool things and elements you will encounter but I don’t want to spoil the experience! Just do this room! We escaped with a team of 2 but 4 is definitely doable and probably better if new or inexperienced.
