The LadderHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLThe Ladder is not a traditional escape room game as it is designed to make you come back and replay it. The story was well-designed and the props were fun. Our group enjoyed the individual little games and spent most of our time grinding those out. BUT (yes, here we go), as an escape room fan, this is not what I’m looking for. I’d rather spend my money at an arcade to play those games. I honestly think it’s not worth the money because you compile many games into one experience (and some props did not working properly given it’s a relatively new room) . It’s a novel experience I’d say, but I’d prefer a more traditional escape room experience.
Wanted: Dead or AliveNo Exit IlioupoliEscape roomIRLUtterly engaging experience, thoughtful puzzles and very unique props. This was the best room I played in 2024. (Huge credit to the NPC, he’s a genius)
Ghost PatrolTrivium GamesEscape roomIRLMy favorite room in the Bay Area. Amazing pops and good storyline, the puzzles are very unique, I think the room perfectly combines puzzle depth with tech pops.
The Edison Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLThe tech is amazing, I’d say it’s definitely one of the best mechanicals I’ve seen in a escape room experience.
Operation GryaznayavodaIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLA must-play room in Portland. The setup for this room is well designed and every puzzle can tie to the theme. In terms of the puzzles, there are some unique forms that really impressed us.
RockstarCityscape GamesEscape roomIRLNo doubt this is one of the top rooms (there are 2-3 rooms in my mind) in the greater Seattle area. It has a unique story setting and the puzzles are well designed. Those thoughtful puzzles are what differentiate Rockstar from the other room I’ve played. For those puzzle lovers, you will find some very interesting and unique puzzles in this room. Gamemaster did an awesome job and we all had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend, must play :)
Siren's CoveEscape Hour Point RustonEscape roomIRLThoughtful room design & setting, a handful of puzzles, immersive hint system. I think Siren’s Cove is one of the best in Greater Seattle area. It also has a couple unique puzzles which amazed me. The only advice is that, although it has a lot of content but it’s not very spacious, so more than 6 could be a little crowded.
Lombino's CasinoIn Search Of An ExitEscape roomIRLWe had a wonderful experience from the very beginning. Very thoughtful design from the owner. The puzzles are fun and interesting, hint system is very unique as well. Definitely a room to play in Portland!
Red Vs. Blue: Bomb Defuse ChallengeConundroom - Downtown ParkEscape roomIRLIt’s not a typical escape room experience but rather a puzzle solving competition. I personally like the setting and enjoy the puzzle solving piece. If you want to have a slightly different escape experience, I’d recommend to try this room.
Ice WalkerFlee: The Ultimate Real Life Escape GameEscape roomIRLMy worst escape room experience so far. The puzzles were not quite logical and we had tech problem that the staff had to come in to the room to solve the issue. Totally ruined the experience.
