Wanted: Dead or Alive

Wanted: Dead or Alive is one of my favorite games; it's also(so far) my benchmark for an ideal Wild West-themed escape room. It's very funny, which especially makes it stand out in Athen's sea of horror games. The set was great and the puzzles were nice, but the standout of the game was the actor. At one point I just stepped back, let the rest of the team solve puzzles, and bantered with him for a while. The ending sequence was also a step above average. I would consider this a must play for anyone visiting Athens. If I have one criticism, it's the dim lighting. This is a common problem in Athens, and sort of makes sense in horror games, but made no sense to me here. We played the game in English with no problem.

The most entertaining room we’ve done so far, even beating the amazing Ice Tikki! Splendid mechanisms and wood work like in the other rooms of this establishment. Great acting/improv. Large spaces with beautiful attention to details. Go play it!

If you want to explore the wild west, get to know the inhabitants and exercise your laugh muscles at the same time, you should definitely play this room! Really nice, thematic puzzles, packed into a funny story, in a very cool setting. Comedy meets Escape Room! 🤠😂
