We read from books and there wasn’t a lot of room for improv. There was some semblance of “looking for clues” which were props in a different room but it was just a mechanism for storytelling and it didn’t feel like we earned it in any way. The game master really dragged things along and the game was really overly long and kind of boring. The ending didn’t feel satisfying and was anticlimactic. Maybe it was the story itself but after we got over the initial awe of the special effects in the room, it was really boring and we couldn’t wait to be done.
