Treasure Island
Brain Games Escape Room
Escape room
IRL
The rooms are very well thought, every little detail tells you something. We were super hype and did the room with very high energy, escaping 2 people in 53 mins. There are so much to do, so I suggest more. It was super fun though :)

They really created a wizardry school! The atmosphere, the décor, the music, the personas, the spell/potion books, everything was out of this world. We really enjoyed being transported there. Puzzles are mostly linear and easy, but they are very unique and… organic :) The last room was a bit rushed with only one big puzzle, nevertheless it complemented the rest very well too. The GM was a sweetheart, complementing our over-enthusiastic mood for finally doing this room :) Overall, do it! Not all rooms need to melt your brains out with difficulty.

Liking or hating this experience highly depends on your expectations. If you like pain, living the pain of someone else through every state of their life, smelling and hearing their struggle at every corner, then this is for you. If you are looking for having fun or a scary ride or clever puzzles, nope. Also this is quite different from the earlier Nest, as there are no live actors. You’re alone in a confined space as if everything may crumble in a second. The set production is incredible, every little detail is telling a story, every space has a character, absolutely stunning environment creation. The very last part hits you hard and makes it so real, for all of us. So… no thanks, I want to be impressed not depressed.

It is absolutely a unique experience, the whole perception of your world changes twice during the game. We started slow but didn’t give up, you can finish it with exponential speed. Our GM was an amazing gem during our escape, her texts and clues were so encouraging ❤️ There is not much of a story but the atmosphere is really well thought and designed. Just a tiny recommendation, if your color percetion is not good, go with a friend whose is ;)

With all reviews and recognitions, we had high expectations from this room. At the end, it was meh. I guess if you like jump scares you’d particularly enjoy this one, but there is no unique puzzle, flow, game, etc. Mostly locks and putting things in place. The room was not reset properly, one shelf was open, so the GM told us that we can’t work on it yet. There was also another puzzle where we unlocked something and we were told to not pay attention to it, although we think it should have contained something to do with external lights. The sound system that GMs use is also not much audible so we keep repeating and assuming things… Both GMs were ok and helpful, but there was another staff member that came to us after we escaped and asked “have you taken one of the locks?” … Excuse me?! That type of behavior was very off-putting, we waited until she found it in the room, right above the box… I don’t want to reflect that last bit to the game, so overall, it was an ok experience.
Whatever Happened To The Garretts?

I had hesitations taking my parents to this room, one of which has never been to an escape room before. I wanted her first experience to be magical… oh boy, I couldn’t have chosen a better room than this. The experience is really transforming throughout the journey, be quick, be observant, and just step on Garrets’ footsteps :) We escaped with only 3 clues and the GM said the escape rate is 37%, so if you can escape, kudos!

It was a nice and easy room. AH story and easter eggs were lovely — hi my desr Cthulhu! The game was very easy as all connected objects are marked by the same symbols.

It was such a magical atmosphere with a lovely automated guide (in addition to the GM) to guide you. There are so many puzzles to solve, some repetitive, some novel, but you need to progress non-stop, if you get stuck on one, you lose! Also the start of the game was a nice change of scenery (lol) to begin with. Story was coherent although we were short 2 puzzles and a spell, I think we were mesmerized enough to appreciate the game. For those of you concerned with being “over-hinted”, the GM actually asks you how you want to be helped in the beginning, so tell them that you want to be left struggling forever, and you cannot finish 🤣

Quest Room - Redondo Beach

It was one of the most magical escape rooms I have been in. Change of moods, the live actor, the friends along the way, environment design and effects were absolutely beautiful. On the contrary, when we were leaving, there was a yucky taste because there were so many puzzles and things we have not even tried. Definitely not recommended for 2 people. Also, I guess the limit is not 1 hour but 50 mins, because our GM rushed us by unlocking things without solving and over-giving clues to finish in 50 mins top. If you have a family, everyone working on their own simple puzzle in parallel, this room is for you. We still wonder what the candles do, or how boxes are arranged by, or where the dragon egg is, etc. I think we did only 25% of the first room and the GM unlocked the door.

High tech, fun, not scary, and a super unique gameplay in the sense that… I can’t tell you that. But you’re not alone! Let Melvin help you, your lovely blue companion ❤️
