La RébellionThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLla rebellion is probably one of the best games i’ve played so far. i liveddd for the set design!! everything was made so beautifully, the space was utilised well and the details really tied the room together without creating any red herrings. all the puzzles flowed together smoothly and the effects used really elevated the experience too.
MetamorphosisThe Cipher Room St PetersEscape roomIRLfor the most part metamorphosis is fantastic. like the other rooms at this venue, the set design is next level and they utilised the space in a super cool way. the puzzle flow was great and the variety of what’s inside was nice to see. my main issue with this room is the ending. it felt really abrupt and while i admit it did leave our group speechless, i fear it was more out of confusion if anything. regardless, it’s definitely still a room worth doing
PortalScarborough Fair Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLa solid room for larger groups who love to divide and conquer. theming was simple but still effective. the puzzles are pretty tough, and the signposting inside could be improved for a few parts, but i’d still class this as my favourite room that scarborough has to offer so far.
