The Butcher

This is an awesome room with a lot of memorable moments! The set for this room is great, I am usually a bit apprehensive about pure darkness in rooms but it works really well in this one and the puzzles match the darkness very well. The rest of the set progressively unnerves you and the personal touches in the room were great as well. The puzzles are extremely varied here and nothing felt the same, the live actor also added a lot of tension and hilarity to the room as well. I think this room is probably the best room that Scram has to offer across every venue they have (until they release more rooms at this venue)

I really enjoyed the new and challenging design aspects of the butcher. And I can see how they would vibe with certain groups but the range of activities were genuinely very refreshing and fun. Highly recommend, the horror included.

9/10 we had a great time. Scary escape rooms are at the bottom of my preference (my brain really doesn’t work as well when I’m in fear) but for fun with hubby who loves scary escape rooms, it was all worth it and I would totally do it again! Our game master Lem was 10/10! We had been waiting for this room ever since we started doing escape rooms a couple of months ago and now that we are running out of good ones in Sydney, this one opened up perfectly on time! There was so much to do and the rooms flowed really well with variety of different puzzles and skills needed.

Our new favourite room at Scram Escape! The Butcher was everything we could have hoped for — immersive theming, creepy atmosphere, well-executed jump scares, multiple areas that are all very different, a solid storyline, a couple of cool surprises, and a diverse assortment of puzzles that test not just your brain but your senses and physical skills. It's only been open for a couple of weeks but we had zero suggestions to help them improve it!

This room was incredibly enjoyable and a tad bit creepy. There are a few jump scares with the live actor, but it isn’t too scary. The room had many unique sections with all different puzzles. Though this was its second week of opening, we had no problem with it whatsoever and the experience was very smooth. I definitely recommend this to anyone who aren’t too against horror. P.S. Although it is only the second week, we still managed to break the record by around 20 mins.

We loved this room and were told we were only the second offical group through. The room was aesthetically great, lots of puzzles to solve and it was REALLY enjoyable! Highly recommend!
