Tim has been our game master a few times and he’s THE BEST! Such a great personality. Really gets into character! He makes the room that much better! Thanks for the great room!
Haunted HouseEscapology - SacramentoEscape roomIRLThis room was decorated great. Everything flowed well. We had a malfunction with a key in our experience. A key didn’t drop as it was supposed to. We were dead in the water. Staff had to come in and unlock a lock for us, the staff member struggled and had to leave and return again to get it unlocked. She said our time would be paused but it wasn’t paused until she left and came back again, we lost several minutes with this. Later, we were on the very last puzzle and literally had to make a SMALL adjustment to win and escape. Timer went off and staff came in “sorry you didn’t escape” which we felt was extremely unfair since we lost several minutes due to an error on their part. Had we had literally 30 more seconds we would have been successful. This is a new facility and I’m sure they are still perfecting things but many other rooms would have stopped the time right away when they noticed an issue. Or given us a few extra minutes to square up. We take our rooms serious and don’t like hearing “sorry you didn’t escape” ha. We just didn’t care for how that was handled. But we will most likely be back to try the other rooms in the future.
