Kami's QuestINBLACK Escape Room - WellesleyEscape roomIRLI’ve done quite a lot of escape rooms over the past few years, and I recently tried Kami’s Quest. A couple things really stood out compared to more traditional rooms. First, it’s very story-driven — you solve puzzles as the story unfolds, which I thought was really fun and different. Second, the puzzles mix in some tech elements, and those parts felt pretty clever. Overall, I didn’t find the difficulty very high. Maybe two or three puzzles needed real logical thinking, but the rest were fairly straightforward. Still, it was a nice experience. I’m not sure what other escape room regulars might think, but personally I feel like this game is probably best for beginners.
