Ongyi’s DreamDeepthinker Escape RoomEscape roomIRLVery accessible for English-only tourists. The Korean style of escape rooms differs from the US—I visited one other Korean escape room which had the same puzzle layout. There is a linear sequence of numbered puzzles which are given to you in order, and the emphasis is much more on puzzle solving than finding clues. You solve many small puzzles (30 for this room) rather than fewer complex puzzles. Great for a team of 2-3; would not recommend for 4+ because I suspect people will end up standing around due to only one puzzle being accessible at a time.
Legend of the YetiThe Escape Game - IrvineEscape roomIRLAs always with The Escape Game, high technical production value. Had some novel puzzle types I haven’t seen before. Two minor hiccups where they 1) left an important puzzle clue in an inaccessible room and 2) left a lock open, but they didn’t significantly impact the experience. Got a free pin as compensation. Very fun, 8/10.
