The Magical MiscalculationCurtain Calls XscapeEscape roomIRLAbsolutely incredible escape room. Beginner friendly but especially entertaining for escape room pros. Really well thought out, memorable, incredible storytelling. Room designers have background in theater and it shows in the rooms as they are incredibly detailed for maximum player entertainment while still being extremely mentally stimulating.
The ChosenCurtain Calls XscapeEscape roomIRLHands down my favorite escape room out of dozens I've tried around the country. I've done escape rooms in cities across the U.S., and curtain calls escape, but especially this room, beat all of them. The designers went above and beyond. Nothing felt recycled or off the shelf. The room was one of a kind, surprising, and clearly well thought out from start to finish. Multiple rooms. The flow was smooth and when you thought you couldnt be surprised anymore, a new twist was genuinely unexpected. The attention to detail meant each puzzle felt like a reward. Was never stuck on something that felt unfair or random. Alex, one of the owners and my GM was incredible as well. Great GM to have in the room. If you've done a lot of escape rooms and think you've seen it all, go here. If you've never done one, go here first. Five stars. I'd do it again tomorrow.
