Museum Of History: HeistThe Greatest EscapeEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed that not all of the puzzles were “find a code, input the code”. Lots of fun things to interact with! Just a very different kind of “heist” room that was very well put together. These guys very obviously love what they do and that makes rooms so much more fun to experience.

Having to do something over and over again because a light isn’t registering correctly is frustrating. We spent too much time knowing what to do but not being able to complete it because of how much you have to finesse to get it to work. Also when they say prepare for a rocky landing…tighten that seat belt

I really enjoyed all the different mechanics in this one - it felt really unique. When they say you need 4 players you really need 4 players. I felt like my partner and I were constantly working on puzzles, never stumped, and we barely scraped out with a win!
Calling All VillainsCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLThis one falls far down on the favorites list at CU. I thought the theme was so fun but the puzzles werent my favorite. At one point we got stuck in a room that had incessant rumbling. We couldnt hear each other OR the GM. We ended up having everything correct but it wasnt registering so that GM had to manually let us through. Still a fun game, just not my favorite out of the ones there!
Scrooge's Christmas TrapCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLIve done many a Christmas room and definitely enjoyed this one but would say its the weakest room CU has. Still enjoyable, just not at the same level as Wizards or Fables! We did finish early and got to do a bonus puzzle which was a treat! I love the idea of getting a little bonus if you finish early or on time.
Revenge Of The CabinCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLI get SCARED in spooky games. Even the slightest but of scary gets me sweating so believe me when i say this room was FUN. We told the GM before hand that i get a little spooked and they treated me kindly! The puzzles were fun and interesting. The last puzzle threw us for a loop when the answer was revealed (so fun!) Finish with some time to spare and maybe your GM will let you do their bonus puzzle(my favorite puzzle of the room for sure)
The Wizard's CurseCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLCu’s smallest game size-wise but this game was PACKED with puzzles! A fun take on a Wizard game, definitely a great warm up for CU’s meatier games!

Getting to see what our Auntie was getting up to in her spare time was enjoyable. The puzzles seemed to flow well, my partner and I both had things we could be doing at separately which helped us fly through each room while having our own fun. The last room was exciting and interesting . The definitely put a lot of work and thought into this one and it was a good time! Something i really enjoyed about this company was that they take a polaroid for you to take home! Just a nice little touch that made our experience better.
Swan SongBrainstorm Escapes: The ConspiratoryEscape roomIRLThis room was fun but definitely tripped us up in a few places due to multiple clues for singular puzzles. My partner kept going back to one section feeling we hadnt “used” it yet and we completely missed another by opening a lock without the clue needed accidentally. This room feels like the home of a mad man for sure. The ending was fun but the red herrings make it difficult to flow from one puzzle to the next.
Circus Of The StrandedBrainstorm Escapes: The ConspiratoryEscape roomIRLFun and a little silly, this is the smallest room Brainstorm has. I think this game best suits small groups and beginners.

HijackedDeadlock EscapeEscape roomIRLThe beginning of the room felt like wading through mud. It was hard to get a handle on what we were looking for and the clues were non existent. The ending was fun but it didnt make up for the beginning for me.
If These Walls Could TalkAdventures of IntrigueEscape roomIRLThis game was fun and had a unique tool to use to navigate the game! Not too difficult and honestly not very “puzzely” once you figure out the trick.
