The VaultExcape: Exmouth Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLHaving previously played and enjoyed 'The Game's Afoot' Room at Excape, we were keen to return to play another game. This booking was particularly special as we were also supporting the wonderful fundraiser Helen and Dan were hosting for Break The Chains charity that day, which i am pleased to read was a huge success! We chose to play 'The Vault' during this visit as it has been high on our 'to-complete list' ever since our last visit. On entering the room, we were astounded by the immersivity of the space and the attention to detail to all aspects of the room including, the decoration, the props and most importantly the puzzles. 'The Vault' had visually interesting moving elements and clever puzzles which seemed obvious after a few small clues to help us along. It is such an incredibly unique experience, nothing like we have experienced at other escape room venues and was a huge win with our team. As mentioned in the game description, there are a lot of puzzles to solve in this room, so i believe a larger team of 5 - 6 players would be ideal for this game. I would absolutely recommend this room for more experienced teams looking for new, exciting and immersive gameplay! We look forward to coming and playing the remaining two rooms soon! The Wizards of WyvernProdigy Escapes And ExperiencesEscape roomIRLDan was such a welcoming, informative and funny game master from the minute we walked in. We were incredibly grateful that The Prodigy was able to fit us in for a spontaneous game in the evening which most other escape rooms can't provide. We played The Wizards of Wyvern game and it is safe to say this has been our all time favourite! The game, story and props were all incredibly well thought out and the theme was incredibly fun. We are keen escape room enthusiasts so Dan was kind enough to share the behind the scenes of the escape room and its mechanics as many of the puzzles were unique to this game and we haven't come across such innovative game play before even showing us his custom soundboard which was hilarious and made the game even more personalised. We look forward to coming and playing again soon! Thank you Dan and The Prodigy Team! :)
The Game's AfootExcape: Exmouth Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLWe visited Exmouth Escape Rooms as part of a surprise birthday day out and brought along two beginner players who had never played an escape room before. From the outset, Dan was an incredibly fun, welcoming and enthusiastic games master who clearly is passionate about the game, which was encouraging for our new members. The room was visually exciting and thematically perfect for the storyline, and the puzzles were just as impressive as the look of the room. We especially loved some of the moving elements and more physical puzzles, which we felt were incredibly unqiue to the game. All of us, including our new escape room members had such a positive experience and hope to play more games in the future. I would absolutely recommend this room as an introductory game for new players, it was a huge hit for our team! We look forward to coming and playing again soon! A Case of Murder and MarigoldsSalisbury Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLMaisie is such an incredibly welcoming and friendly host. We have played 3 of the Salisbury Escape Room games so far, and always come back to play again because we love them - they are consistently our groups favourite Escape Room! The design of the rooms at Salisbury Escape Rooms is always so impressive and visually exciting. It is clear the mechanics and puzzles are well built by a passionate escape room enthusiast as they are clearly thought out and so unique. We love the mixture of visual clues and more physical puzzles which require a bit more thinking to piece together. We usually play as a group of 4, and enjoy that there are plenty of puzzles for each of us to solve. We look forward to coming and playing again soon! Thank you Maisie and Salisbury Escape Rooms! :)
