If you’ve done the Edison room in the San Francisco area, you’ll definitely enjoy the live acting, production, and fun puzzles in Londium. The owners have a background in theme park design and also help design escape rooms for other puzzle loving creators. You can see that influence and expertise in the theatrical moments and other elements throughout the room. It’s out of the way from Barcelona, so you really have to allot more time than you think to commute there, especially if you’re taking public transit. Also, the beginning is really strong, and it stays strong for a good while, so as you explore more, you might feel disappointed if other parts of the experience don’t hit as hard as that. Just don’t let that get to you. I’d say the production and theming is the strongest part here. The puzzles are fun, but if you’ve done a lot of escape rooms, the complexity won’t feel new to you. They’re still well thought out, but I can see some people being critical if they’ve done a ton of rooms. The goal is more about having fun, they’ll step in and give you hints since the point is for you to experience the whole thing.

The production quality was high, the set design was immersive, and the puzzles were engaging without feeling repetitive. I loved that the room used a variety of tangible, hands-on elements instead of relying only on locks. The clues were helpful and nudged us in the right direction when we needed them. Our game master also made the experience even better. They were fun, energetic, and incredibly talented with fire, which added a memorable touch to the atmosphere and story. I think this room is best suited for players who have done a few escape rooms before. There are a lot of different puzzles you can work on at the same time, so it might feel overwhelming or too time-tight for just two people. Our group of four felt like the perfect size to split up and tackle multiple puzzles at once. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Dragon Alley to others, especially if you enjoy creative puzzles and well-designed rooms.
Escape IT - The SewersEscape ITEscape roomIRLI would have to say this escape room felt more like a haunted maze. There is a lot of focus on the quality of production and jump scares. If you’re looking for an experience with a lot of puzzles, this probably isn’t the right fit for you. I still thoroughly enjoyed this room, but it was 70% horror and 30% puzzles.
Slasher PartyOpen Mind Room EscapeEscape roomIRLI’d recommend this escape room if you’re in the area. There are a good number of jump-scares, so think twice before booking if that’s not your thing. Heads up, the building doesn’t have AC, so we had a rough time with the heat in the middle of summer. If you don’t do well in heat, try booking this one when it’s cooler out. There are also a good amount of padlocks and number locks. It’s a good room overall, but there are definitely more and better rooms in the area. It’s great if you’re nearby, but not really worth commuting far for. The theming is great, very focused on the horror and dark aspect.
