The Bunker
Escape Room PSL

This was fun! Did this with a team of 3 and I think that was a good amount! The story line was fun and the immersion was really cool! I really enjoyed some of the tech that was in the room! Things made sense and the flow worked really well. Definitely ready to go back to check out their other experiences!

A pretty sweet room high above the New York streets. I get the limited space, so this is a single room experience. The puzzles were pretty good and flowed decently. There were a few technical issues, but that didn’t stop us. I do give credit though for the way info was encrypted. Pretty good overall!

Easily the coolest and most fun game so far with this company! I was hyped on it for a while and the opportunity came and we did it! Lots of running around and exploring and looking at random things! We loved the interactivity and variety given throughout. Need to be cunning and things aren’t always what they seem. If you can make it to a location to play this out, GO DO IT
Runaway Train
Breakout Games - Atlanta

Slightly disappointed by this room since all of the GMs that we talked to in this company recommended it as the best. We did this as a team of 2 and it was a little tough to follow the puzzle flow. There were a couple of sections of Easter egg hunting (looking for components) that probably weren’t necessary. I do give major props though for a code system they had. Very clever and I still think of other uses to this day! It was decent, though would recommend a team of 3-4 tackle this one
Atlanta
Ultimate Escape Game - Atlanta

This was a pretty cool experience to get some of the culture of the Atlanta area into an escape room. Cheeky and informative. The puzzles weren’t high tech at all, some would call this a late Gen 1 room; however don’t let that stop you! As you progress, the goal becomes more clear. Finished this with time to spare and definitely recommend if you’re new to Atlanta (like I was) and want to learn a thing or two!
Escape The 90's
The Quandary Escape Rooms

A wave of nostalgia in this one! My team mate and I were blasting out our lungs to the 90s tracks played in this one! The environment was great and perfect for the theme. I love that it wasn’t a typical themed room. There was definitely variety and some of the puzzles proved a little tricky. Although recommended for a team of 4, we did escape with 2. I really recommend you play this with 4 though! The hint system gets a special shoutout as well for being super clever!

We were so close to finishing this one! Quite literally 2 puzzles away. We did this with a team of 2 and it was pretty tough! The puzzle variety was fun and well thought out. There is a maintenance system in place throughout your game and it’s so clever! Physicality is needed in some parts, so be ready. It was a little heavy in puzzle density, however it was still enjoyable. I recommend a group of 4-5 play this and it’ll work out just fine! If in the Chicago area, check this out!
The Parlour

Extremely difficult but probably one of the most unique and fun escape rooms I have ever done! Definitely made my top 3 list! The fact that this was a room with a currency type system was unique and the GM definitely played the character needed. We barely escaped in our group of 3, but it was pretty awesome. I do wish this was still open and available for others to experience!
The Lazarus Crystal

I never enjoyed this room. Never have I ever escaped sub-20 while still stuck due to technological difficulties. This room was cheesy and not in the good way. The atmosphere wasn’t too great and the props were tacky.
The Villain's Lair

Hands down my favorite game at this location. I’ve never had an escape room challenge me and make me laugh so hard at the same time. THe intro video was extra special and my best friend and I still quote it to this day! This was ALMOST impossible with two people, almost, but we still succeeded and raked in the victory! Definitely say that you need a team of at least 4-6 people to be able to go through this pretty successfully. One area was especially difficult for just the 2 of us. If you were going to play just one room here with your team, I highly recommend this one.
