13th Basement
Exit Game OC - Anaheim
Escape room
IRL
This game was awesome. The owners were friendly and the set up was perfect. Though “horror” themed, it made fun of every trope that goes with the theme. The puzzles were well designed too! Everything made sense and I was really happy with this multi-room experience. My favorite puzzle involved quite a bit of teamwork and I recommend a team of 4-6! Hands down, this will be one I always recommend. I’ve never been so scared while laughing at the same time!

All about this room! It had purpose, the background music wasn’t the cheesy, obnoxious “adventure” music found in many rooms, the story mattered, and it was immersive. The puzzle variety and delivery was awesome and provided a different perspective. Definitely recommend and easily in my top 3!

This was awesome! We played literally the day after it opened and we got out! I loved the unique take on “magic” they had and a clever hint system! I loved that it wasn’t just another “Harry Potter” room and took magic to another level. The puzzles were extremely interactive!

Easily the coolest and most fun game so far with this company! I was hyped on it for a while and the opportunity came and we did it! Lots of running around and exploring and looking at random things! We loved the interactivity and variety given throughout. Need to be cunning and things aren’t always what they seem. If you can make it to a location to play this out, GO DO IT
The Escape
The Unlockables - San Diego

Definitely a recommended room. Really the larger your group (would say have 6-8 players), probably the more that’ll get done. I loved the variety that this experience provided and how intricate the plot was. Puzzles were clever and there weren’t too many for one space. The plot got a little funky, but we rolled with it! If you have a large enough crew, definitely go for it and try to solve the mystery!

We barely got out with 3 of us! I loved the set design and the hint system had us laughing. One of the puzzles had us stumped for a while, but we rushed the rest after it and still managed to do it! Should you hit the button? 🤔 I guess that’s up to you 😉
Sister's Secret
The Unlockables - San Diego

A tough, spooky room! We had a good sized group getting into this mess and it was so much fun! The staff was attentive and on top of things. The set design was creepy and well put together. For a multilinear room, this peaked. It was tough at times with so many moving parts and I definitely would recommend having a large group put together. It had some great theater involved and I really enjoyed that they delivered on what they promised! Definitely recommend
Prison Break

The set design was fun, the puzzles were well thought out, and the staff were kind. Definitely recommend having a team of 6 to play this due to the puzzle concentration and teamwork needed to get through this! The staff was kind and we loved the high spirits everyone was in. Props on the immersion as well!

As a magician, I was interested in the theming, and I really liked it. It took some out of the box thinking to solve the puzzles, especially in our group of 2! It was awesome to see the set design and I do recommend this for someone looking for a different way to escape!

I don’t think I’ve ever had an escape room give me a comically cartoon-ish moment like this one, especially since it made me laugh so hard! It was a fun, whimsical room with interesting set design. The plot twist was funny and overall a great experience! Recommend you have a team of 4-6!
